My experience with Worldpackers in Labaroche with Thierry and his family was absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, they welcomed me so warmly that I truly felt like part of the family. Thierry is incredibly kind and respectful, always making sure I was comfortable and even taking me to visit the beautiful villages around. The house and my room were very cozy, and he was always attentive to buying anything I needed. The work was smooth and enjoyable, since we didn't have many guests, I mainly helped with simple tasks around the house. I highly recommend this place to other members!

My experience with Thierry was great! He is a nice host who will happily show you around Colmar and Strasbourg and be very patient to help you practice french. I had the opportunity to meet his whole family, his workplace, his family business, join him at the supermarket, and so on. He really integrates you into his life. The house is on top of the hill, so be aware that there are only very few buses to Colmar during the day, but he always offers a ride! The workload is light and I could easily balance it with my remote work. I would recommend this experience :)

One of the best experience that you can have. Thierry was very supportive and caring, he shows you around and tells you places to visit or how to get there. The task where normal tasks as are describe in the announce. As a recommendation try to have some level of French so you can have a better communication with the family and you can inmers even more in their culture I would definitely return if I have the chance with a better French Thanks a lot Thierry and Jules and the whole family!

I really enjoyed my time in Labaroche, Thierry and his whole family were super friendly and welcoming! Tasks were easy to complete, accommodations were above my expectations and meals were always delicious. I visited lovely towns and got to practice my French a lot, so in conclusion it was a great experience!

I really enjoyed my stay at Thierry's home from start to finish! He's a kind and patient host as he helped me practice my French and showed me the French way of life. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked into his home and Im truly grateful for my time spent in Labaroche!

It was very nice and lovely experience to stay in Thierry's house. I wanted to be engaged in nature and french local experiences, and they are fulfilled exactly in a way what I expected! Very welcoming host, their family, and not too hard works. Located in near Colmar and Strasbourg hence you can trip around the cities nearby as well. i highly recommend this world packers !!! To say that this was a good first volunteer experience would be an understatement! I enjoyed my stay with the host and his family from start to finish. Thierry always made sure that I was comfortable with my surroundings, and would always go the extra mile to accommodate any needs I had. He and his family made every effort to make me feel welcomed and at peace in a new environment, and I genuinely appreciate all that they did. The work was exactly as Thierry had described, and could often be completed in a few hours, allowing me to explore many places during my stay. I truly loved my time here!

Thierry is a great host and very patient helping me to improve my French. I really had a great time and felt part of the family. I had the opportunity to visit and take photos in Strasbourg, Colmar and a couple of smaller cities, all of them are like taken from a fairytale 🥰. I take very good memories from this experience and I definitely recommend it.

Thierry was a fantastic host and the experience was enjoyable. He and his family made me feel welcome, and I had fun exploring the surrounding villages and nature. The work was balanced between helping around the house and cleaning/preparing the air bnb for guests. Thank you Thierry for the experience, all the best!
