I had a great experience. Thierry and his family are amazing people— very respectful, kind, and always willing to help, whether by showing you around or recommending good places to visit. The tasks are basic, and everything agreed upon was respected. Highly recommended!

Esse foi meu primeiro voluntariado, e não poderia ser melhor! O Thierry é um querido, super educado, respeitoso e atencioso. Mesmo com sua rotina corrida de trabalho, se preocupava em saber se estava tudo bem ou se eu precisava de algo. O trabalho é leve, fácil de fazer, e na noite anterior ele sempre avisava sobre o que fazer no dia seguinte. Eu pude melhorar um pouco do meu francês básico que era o meu objetivo pessoal, e ainda conheci as vilas alsácianas nas horas livres! Pude conhecer sua família, seus pais, irmãos, sobrinhos etc, e eu amei, muito obrigada Thierry e toda sua família! ❤️

My experience with Worldpackers in Labaroche with Thierry and his family was absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, they welcomed me so warmly that I truly felt like part of the family. Thierry is incredibly kind and respectful, always making sure I was comfortable and even taking me to visit the beautiful villages around. The house and my room were very cozy, and he was always attentive to buying anything I needed. The work was smooth and enjoyable, since we didn't have many guests, I mainly helped with simple tasks around the house. I highly recommend this place to other members!

Foi a minha primeira experiencia com voluntariado do Worldpackers e não tinha como ser melhor. Thierry e sua familia tornaram minha experiência inesquecível. As tarefas são simples, Thierry cumpre com o horario proposto de trabalho, instalação para hospedar os voluntários é linda e ótima, a comida é deliciosa e você pode fazer a sua, se quiser. Foi a melhor experiência da minha vida. Obrigada, Jules, Thierry e familia! Vocês são incriveis… Espero voltar em breve.

My experience was not entirely positive. Although the host was respectful at times, he made comments about my appearance and my social media photos that made me feel uncomfortable. Because of this, I decided to leave the volunteering earlier than planned. I am sharing this so that other female volunteers can be aware and make an informed decision.

Surpris par ton commentaire, j'ai juste exprimé mes préférences sur certaines photos plutôt que d'autres puisque tu avais mis en avat ton "haut score" d'un de tes post sur intagram qui n'était pas mon préféré.

Fue mi primer voluntariado y sin duda ha sido una de las mejores experiencias! Thierry es muy generoso, amigable y atento! Las tareas en el lugar son sencillas y puedes sugerir cambios en los días libres, dependiendo de las tareas que debas hacer, pregunta si hay algo que no sabes! Thierry siempre esta proponiendo lugares para que puedas conocer que hay cerca del lugar, eso te sumerge en la cultura local! Pude conocer a su familia, fueron muy amables y preparan una comida deliciosa! La movilidad a la ciudad es reducida, pero siempre esta atento a darte un aventón, practique muchísimo francés!☺

My experience with Thierry was great! He is a nice host who will happily show you around Colmar and Strasbourg and be very patient to help you practice french. I had the opportunity to meet his whole family, his workplace, his family business, join him at the supermarket, and so on. He really integrates you into his life. The house is on top of the hill, so be aware that there are only very few buses to Colmar during the day, but he always offers a ride! The workload is light and I could easily balance it with my remote work. I would recommend this experience :)

One of the best experience that you can have. Thierry was very supportive and caring, he shows you around and tells you places to visit or how to get there. The task where normal tasks as are describe in the announce. As a recommendation try to have some level of French so you can have a better communication with the family and you can inmers even more in their culture I would definitely return if I have the chance with a better French Thanks a lot Thierry and Jules and the whole family!
