Help with cleaning guesthouses and enjoy Faro

I had an amazing time the guest house. Sonja and Pedro are incredibly welcoming and kind hosts who truly care for the volunteers. The work is easy and very well explained and leaves a lot of time to explore Faro and close-by cities. The only thing to consider before coming is that the room for the volunteers can be quite dark and doesn't have a window, but there is access to roof terrasses. Overall, I absolutely recommend this experience!

I spent around one month in the Female Hostel, good time and good experience and very pretty Hostel. The tasks are good explained and also the time free works with a monthly planning giving you a possibility to enjoy Algarve. Sonja and Josephina are taking care of introducing to the tasks and to the overall organization. I can say even during the high season and the overload tasks the situation has been handled clearly as well as in managing the planning. I had the time to discover Algarve and Faro can let yo feel in a few days part of the City, small pretty and secure for the women.

It was a great experience! My schedule was work 3 days (from 10:30 to 14:30) and then take 1 day off. The place was very organized and my colleagues were awesome. Faro is such a beautiful place to stay and since it's a small city it's very easy to explore by ferry, bus or just walking. This experience has fulfilled my expectations and I highly recommend it!

Sonja, Pedro and Josephina were amazing!! I enjoyed so much my time the guest house working for them. One advice will be to make more activities with the volounteers (like a little gathering once a week for example)nothing too demanding, just to make the volounteers feel more at home🄰

Faro is a small city which will make you feel at home, same as the team running this hostel. The work is manageable and easy, and whether or not you're a first time volunteer you'll be given instructions. When the work is finished, there's a lot of free time to spend visiting places and immersing yourself in the local culture!

I spent a month at the Female Hostel the guest house and had a wonderful first Worldpackers experience. The work matched the description perfectly, and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. I met many great people and highly recommend this experience to everyone!

I really enjoyed this volunteer experience in Faro. The work is quite easy, Josefina, Sonja and Pedro are also always here to help us if we need anything. All the volunteers have the same working hours which is very convenient to go eat together at lunch and do activities in the afternoon. Overall it was an amazing first experience, i met amazing people and I am very grateful for the time i spent there!

This was an incredible experience! I worked mostly with Josephina and Sonja, they were incredible. Very welcoming, kind, and personable. The work is easy, you just need to focus on it for the four hours a day and then you can spend the rest of your time doing whatever you would like. Faro is nice, it also allows you to go visit other places in the Algarve very easily. I really adore this location and the people that I have met through this experience! Anything you could need you just talk to Sonja and Pedro about and they can help you figure it out! It was a great first WP experience!

I'm really grateful for the time I could spent here in Faro. Sonja is a really caring and appreciating host, and the work was most of the time pretty easy to do. I really liked the other volunteers, but it was a bit hard at times due to them mostly speaking Portuguese and Spanish, and me only being fluent in English. But I think we made it work just fine!

I enjoyed my time here! I felt as if my requests and needs were respected. Sonja was always approachable and easy to talk to. The work could occasionally be a lot, but that was mainly due to a shortage of volunteers. There was always someone there to help if needed! The tasks themselves were relatively simple, and there was plenty of time to hang out with the other volunteers after work (as we all have the same hours) and explore Faro and other nearby towns. I made great friends and cherished the memories I made through this experience. Thank you Sonja, Pedro, and Josefina.
