Help with cleaning a tiny Female Hostel in Faro

I cannot put in words how amazing this experience was, Sonja, Pedro and Josefina are amazing people, they are very patient and they're always willing to listen to you anytime. The work is not hard, by the time you learn how to make things quicker. Faro is actually really nice if you're looking for a calm place, for a first experience is perfect.

This experience marked me a lot, I was a little more than 1 month and the truth is that I felt at home, I made very good friends, sonja, pedro and josefina are people with a very good heart, I loved every experience I went through for the smallest one, the town is very quiet and it was just what I needed at this time of life, the hours are what they say, the work is perfect for me, I tried to give the best of me and I leave with a full heart, thank you very much sonja, josefina and pedro for every opportunity they gave me, the meals, the words, it was magical. Volunteering at the hostel was my first volunteering job and I really liked it. The hours were usually shorted because of winter season so had a lot of free time. Faro is a peaceful town but luckily there is lot of cities near where you can visit all the beautiful beaches. Sonja and Pedro are very helpfull and easy to communicate with, what I really appreciated.

A good experience! Everyone I worked with was very kind and welcoming. There was a small issue with the lunch provided but Sonja was great in creating an alternative solution. The accommodation could be better, but the work was straight-forward.

I really enjoyed my stay the guest house, Sonja and Pedro were very communicative and the working hours were as told, Josefina was a big part in understanding how everything works and the work it's really easy. The city is small but fun, I made an excellent group of friends and we were able to travel to different parts of Portugal on our free days. What I would say is that the no windows on the room that you're staying in is pretty rough during the summer, we only had one fan and it was really hot in there, also, the lunches are a hit or miss, depends on who is cooking! Overall, i would reccommend

This was a good experience overall! I met many lovely volunteers and the free meals were amazing. I loved the food! Faro is a peaceful town and it's also close to many other beautiful places in the Algarve! The room could be better, but I still felt comfortable!

This was my first time volunteering and it was an amazing first experience to have. Sonja and Pedro were always easy to contact and very welcoming hosts. Faro was a great location as it is easy to explore the city itself and also to travel to other locations around the algarve and beyond. I would definitley recommend doing this volunteer.

The experience was great. The tasks are very easy and well explained and after work you get to have a lot of free time to explore Algarve! Sonja and Pedro (the hosts) and Josephina are really nice and available and they really care about the volunteers. Faro is a small town but it's well connected with the other places in Algarve. The room is a shared one, there is na window but it's not a big deal, the guesthouse where volunteers stay is nice and you always get great lunch for free with other volunteers :)

I had an amazing time the guest house. Sonja and Pedro are incredibly welcoming and kind hosts who truly care for the volunteers. The work is easy and very well explained and leaves a lot of time to explore Faro and close-by cities. The only thing to consider before coming is that the room for the volunteers can be quite dark and doesn't have a window, but there is access to roof terrasses. Overall, I absolutely recommend this experience!

I spent around one month in the Female Hostel, good time and good experience and very pretty Hostel. The tasks are good explained and also the time free works with a monthly planning giving you a possibility to enjoy Algarve. Sonja and Josephina are taking care of introducing to the tasks and to the overall organization. I can say even during the high season and the overload tasks the situation has been handled clearly as well as in managing the planning. I had the time to discover Algarve and Faro can let yo feel in a few days part of the City, small pretty and secure for the women.
