Help with cleaning guesthouses and enjoy Faro

I'm so grateful for the month I had here the guest house. Sonja and Pedro are doing really well with their the guest house. Don't go unless you're ready to work as expected. They are very reasonable with the work exchange. Lunches were one of my favorite parts. Our host parters with other hostel owners so all us volunteers can get to know each other. You would stay in 1/2 the guest house, while there are 4ish to clean. Generally we got one full guest house to clean a day. It's also pretty much 3 days working and 1 day off. 2 days off in a row guaranteed once. Don't see Sonja or Pedro often which was fine! xx

It was a truly amazing experience. Getting to know the other volunteers, having lunch together, and learning more about the culture and the incredibly beautiful nature and cities was truly wonderful. The work was as described :)

This was a wonderful experience that allowed me to get familiar with Faro and the algarve region in general. The work hours were respected and tasks were easy and very clearly explained. The best part about this experience was getting to meet the other travelers and volunteers!

This was my first Worldpacker experience and I couldn't be happier about it. The schedule and task were just as explained and the working time was respected. When an Issue occured, Sonja and her team were quick to respond and find a solution in a respectful manner. I got to meet a lot of wonderful people as well. Faro is a beautiful Town with a calming energy, which I will definitely miss on my travels!! Thanks a lot for those 4 weeks!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here, getting to know the staff, volunteers and guests. The work consists of simple cleaning and housekeeping tasks (attention to detail is a must!). Help is always given if needed and I felt fully supported by the staff and hosts during my stay. Days off are in a monthly schedule so you always know in advance and the daily tasks are split evenly and communicated in a team chat. The provided lunches were fresh and healthy, cooked by volunteers at a nearby hostel. The city is super walkable and public transport is a great option for exploring nearby.

I cannot put in words how amazing this experience was, Sonja, Pedro and Josefina are amazing people, they are very patient and they're always willing to listen to you anytime. The work is not hard, by the time you learn how to make things quicker. Faro is actually really nice if you're looking for a calm place, for a first experience is perfect.

This experience marked me a lot, I was a little more than 1 month and the truth is that I felt at home, I made very good friends, sonja, pedro and josefina are people with a very good heart, I loved every experience I went through for the smallest one, the town is very quiet and it was just what I needed at this time of life, the hours are what they say, the work is perfect for me, I tried to give the best of me and I leave with a full heart, thank you very much sonja, josefina and pedro for every opportunity they gave me, the meals, the words, it was magical. Obrigada

This was a good experience overall! I met many lovely volunteers and the free meals were amazing. I loved the food! Faro is a peaceful town and it's also close to many other beautiful places in the Algarve! The room could be better, but I still felt comfortable!

This was my first time volunteering and it was an amazing first experience to have. Sonja and Pedro were always easy to contact and very welcoming hosts. Faro was a great location as it is easy to explore the city itself and also to travel to other locations around the algarve and beyond. I would definitley recommend doing this volunteer.

The experience was great. The tasks are very easy and well explained and after work you get to have a lot of free time to explore Algarve! Sonja and Pedro (the hosts) and Josephina are really nice and available and they really care about the volunteers. Faro is a small town but it's well connected with the other places in Algarve. The room is a shared one, there is na window but it's not a big deal, the guesthouse where volunteers stay is nice and you always get great lunch for free with other volunteers :)
