GSH is a magic place, with such good vibes and beautiful people. There I could improved my English having fun, learnt about others cultures, people and myself. Once you get there, you never want to leave the hostel.

My stay at the hostel was truly an unforgettable experience! I had the pleasure to work with an amazing team of people that felt like family by the end of my stay. The manager of the hostel is very kind and always tries to ensure that everyone feels comfortable. You get a lot of benefits such as free surf lessons, yoga classes, bikes etc. The work can be challenging at times but in the end it's all worth it when you're surrounded by the right people. I can recommend this experience for everyone who wants to meet travelers from all over the world, surf and practice languages!

I had a excellent time at the hostel, the house is a lovely place to be in, and gijón and asturias in general is one of my favourite places in spain. there are nice beaches like 25 mins away, and a bit longer to the centre of the city, very nice to go by bike. The best part was all the other volunteers, who were so great, I had so much fun and met so many beautiful people. I would recommend 10/10. 💛💛

I spent almost two months at Gijón the hostel and it felt like two weeks, It happens when you're living such amazing experiences. It was one of the best experiences i had traveling and working with other people. I'm thankful about the people I met there, can't wait to see them all again. I totally recommend the hostel and I'll definitely be back one day.

I had an incredible time at GSH, thanks mostly in part to the team I worked with :) I would absolutely recommend this hostel to any worldpacker. I had an incredible month in the hostel and although a lot is expected of volunteers, including tasks that they should probably hire paid staff to do, the host offers A TON to requite for the work. If you want to spend a month on the beach in a charming little town with all the attractions of a big city, surfing, biking, snorkeling or skating, this experience is definitely worth it :)

I had probably one of the best summers in my life at the hostel!!! I was lucky enough to work with two wonderful teams and meet many wonderful guests. The hostel is very considerate of your and the team's wishes and they always make sure you have a great time. I enjoyed my time in the hostel so much that I postponed my departure date twice and could only leave with a heavy heart. I can highly recommend this great place. I will definitely come back soon!

One of the most unique and fun hostels I've ever been to! The place really has a welcoming atmosphere and all of the staff feel at home and appreciated. The work can sometimes be a lot, but this doesn't take away from the experience as there is always help available if needed. I can't wait to visit again!

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I'm very glad it was at the hostel. I loved how organised the house was I felt at home living there. The team created here was incredible, I connected with so many other travellers which made my stay special. I enjoyed the work and the environment here. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Time sure does fly at the hostel! My experience was one for the books all thanks to the good vibes from guests and most importantly the team I worked with that I now consider my family. All that being said, it is a hostel so with that comes days of overwhelm due to the chaos of hostel life and the amount of work the volunteers are responsible for. Overall it was an amazing experience and I wouldn't trade it for the world🤍

My experience in Gijón the hostel was truly amazing! The work was well organised, and everyone was very welcoming and lovely right from the beginning, which truly made this place feel like a second home. The perks were all as agreed, and I also got to learn about administration and reception tasks, which I really enjoyed! Ezequiel, the manager of the hostel is a perfect host, he always made sure that everyone is having fun during our experience. The volunteers were all stunning too, it was a lot of fun working together. Thank you to everyone, who made this experience unforgettable!
