The hostel has a really social and nice vibe, the work there is not hard at all, and Rodrigo was an amazing host and helped us volunteers to have a good stay. He was super friendly and helpful during my time. In my stay the hostel was not very busy, and the tasks are easy- basic cleaning and reception. We really have fun with the others volunteers. Tivat is a really cute city with a lot of nice beaches along the coast. In my stay I went to Budva, Kotor and Herceg Novi, very easy to move around by bus or walking. I would recommend it to other travellers and i hope to go back someday!

This experience was truly amazing, Rodrigo is one of the best hosts I've come across since i started travelling. Always willing to help you and to make you feel comfortable, also is veeery patient. We worked in 3 shifts and the tasks were similar, cleaning the bathrooms, the social zones and the rooms, reception, and sometimes he needed handyman. Is a easy going job and with the other volunteers was an actual worldpackers experience Really recommend this place 100% even in winter when there is not too much movement

I wouldn't recommend this volunteer, to be honest. The hostel was dirty and the facilities are super old, the people that stay there are in general mostly old residents, it doesn't have a social environment. i don't think it worth the work for just accommodation. Rodrigo, the manager, is a really nice person and is always willing to help. But still, the only employee there is him, and is him and the volunteers who do everything, cleaning, making beds, doing checkins etc

I had a nice time exploring Montenegro and met some really nice volunteers during my stay here. Although while I was there, there were essentially not many guests at all (low season) and there was a bed bug and flea issue that I didn't know about until I arrived.

Overall my time here was okay. The work and working hours were not difficult and was generally pretty easy; cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms, common area and being at reception. The other volunteers here were nice and made the experience better. You have plenty of time to travel around Montenegro. Majority of my time here there were essentially not many guests, just residents. There were definitely some sanitary issues, including bed bugs and fleas, which were not eradicated completely at any point during my stay.

Our experience was terrible. Instead of working at the hostel, we got dump at the camping. Before coming, we were told our stay at the camp would be temporary, only until a room clears up, but when we got there their speech changed and it became obvious that they were planning on leaving us there for a while. The place was filthy and altogether unsanitary with mold and mice. The only volunteer there had been alone for 2 week. We were miles away from town, weren't provided any food or a way to get any. When we let the host know about our discomfort, he rudely kicked us out late in the evening.

I understand that you were not comfortable there, just dont lie about the reasons.
As the manager of the hostel I must remember you that we agreed in advance about staying at our camp for few days (no more than 5) until I could get a private room for you both + dog. Dogs are not allowed to share the room with more guests and it was accepted by you previously. I have all the messages here. After the first night at the camp you realized that you didnt want to be there and for this reason the host asked to find another place to volunteer. To me, you said that you were afraid of the stray dogs to hurt your dog, never mentioned anything about mold, cleanness, mice whatever. If it was the reason you were supposed to tell me and I would try my best to help. About food, you knew the whole time that we are not providing food (you can check the description of the position) and that you were going to be in the mountain. Also we provided a scooter to use to explore the area, go to the market etc and you accepted, so also don`t say that you were in the middle of nowhere.

The place is up on a hill where you can have a beautiful view of all Tivat. That rooftop is memorable! Then you have the common area in reception which is really nice. For music lovers, there's a nice guitar for you to keep improving. There's also a bike you can use to ride around the coast in the morning or enjoy the beautiful Montenegrian sunset. There are also a couple of beautiful cats that require all the love you can provide. Finally there's the manager, Rodrigo, a great guy and an excellent host!

The experience was excellent! Rodrigo, the manager, is a great person and always goes out of his way to make the volunteers feel good during their time here. The work is pretty fair and we have time to go out and travel around the country. The hostel itself is a bit old, but that didn't detract from my experience here. Montenegro is a beautiful country and a visit to the landscapes here should be mandatory.

The hostel became my home away from home in beautiful Montenegro! Rodrigo was an amazing host and helped us volunteers to have a great stay. He was super communicative and helpful during my time. During low season (end of September to end of October) the hostel was not very busy, and the tasks are easy- basic cleaning and reception. Shifts are either morning, afternoon, or night. The vibes are cozy, and there are always friends around to share drinks laughs and music with. We even got to have some fun activities around the Bay and some dinners with other volunteers and guests. ❤️
