I spent almost 4 weeks in the hostel, and enjoyed every moment of it. All the volunteers were amazing, Stef the manager is incredible and the owners are lovely. The hours are fair, the work isn't difficult, and there's always someone around to give you a hand or answer questions. The hostel itself is really nice, there's always people to talk to, and it feels very homely. I would absolutely recommend volunteering here. Missing you all already.

If you're looking for a second home, the hostel is the place. I was meant to stay there for 2 weeks and I ended up staying for 2 months. I loved every single moment, the staff, the city, the people were wonderful! I can't stress enough how much this experience was important and meaningful for me. the hostel is a must if you're looking to meet new people, discover the world and discover yourself. I love it with my whole heart 💛 If you have any questions about it don't hesitate to contact me here or on my Instagram @jorgeschaann P.S.: Stef is the best! You'll love her too 💫💛💫

It was an incredible experience. I didn't know I needed this trip until I arrived at the hostel. Everyone was super friendly and despite my low English level I didn't feel left out. The city is beautiful and the country is wonderful, nature in Ireland is so beautiful. l liked all the people I met who helped me to feel comfortable speaking English. The Irish are very friendly. The work is simple, few hours a day and plenty of free time. I hope to have the opportunity to come back to Belfast without worrying about covid-19 and pandemic. laïs

I wouldnt recommend this hostel, it wasnt a good experience. The work is heavy and there's no comfort when I had little time to relax, the bed was very bad. As a volunteer for me it means to exchange and learn, which wasn't the way it was like a job with no pay with all the resposability and problems with no help. because of the price local people would appear for one night and it was very uncomfortable for everyone and doesnt feel like a safe place, if you were young and in a group of people who like to party this is more suited to you with good entertainment and games during day and night.

The location in Belfast is great, you're right in the student quarter and there's a lot of things in walking distance. Volunteers will be expected to organize activities for guests, which is a great way to get to know what's around the area, as well.

Unfortunately, I had only 4 weeks to stay here, was an amazing and fruitful experience. From the first moment I felt at home in a very good and friendly atmosphere, perfect to meet cool people all over the world. It's the best way to share and exchange your experiences with them, learning about their cultures, improve languages skills and most of all have new friends. The staff are so nice, always helpful and willing to teach you the different tasks. The job is very easy, you don't feel any pressure.Thereby you have a lot of free time to discover the city and Ireland;)I will definitely recommend it

“Hello, the hostel” Since day one the hostel received me as part of the family, they made the entire experience in Ireland even better! The work is really fair and you have a lot of free time to enjoy the city!! The location of the hostel is quite good, close to the city center, nice pubs and the main attractions of the city!! I truly connected with this place and people I met there! My time at GV will never be forgotten ❤️ MISS YOU GUYS! That's might be the reason I keep coming back almost every two days hahah

Staying here is really comfortable even being miles away from home. The manager (Anti) and the owner (Mark) are both very nice people and let all volunteers feeling like home, they are flexible in volunteer needs and always hear from us. The crew is very easy to get along, the vibe of having only volunteers as the staff makes everyone do their part of the job and have a nice and fun environment like a family. Everything flows here is such good energy to be here. I asked to stay more and I am extending my stay for more 20 days. I just have to thank the hostel for everything.

I just love the hostel. Its people and atmosphere. Antti (tghe manager)and Mark (the owner) are just the perfect hosts, kind, funny and always willing to help you out. The amount of work is very fair and you have plenty of time to explore Belfast and its surroundings. I adore this city. The tours are also free for the volunteers which is great! Thank you for everything, I love you all!!! I'll see you again in May 💗

Wonderful month at the hostel! I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel; the work is not hard and you always have free time to Explore Belfast and other places. You'll have the opportunity to meet many people from all over the world, talk with them, share experience and of course have fun! Even if you'll have to pay for your own food you'll get discounts on many things (tours, pub..), free accomodation and free breakfast! So it's worth it! I met wonderful people there and I'll miss all of them! If you are looking for a great experience in a beautiful city you shouldn't miss it!
