It was my first volunteering experience, and I'm very happy it ended up being here! Bar is a pleasant town located on the coast, with a stunning old town and a fortress that you can explore for hours. The hostel itself feels very homey, clean and calm. Emra is always available for any questions, well-organized, respects working hours and always ensures that the volunteers don't miss anything. I was happy to come during the summer, as I met wonderful people and gained lifelong memories. Thank you very much! Highly recommend.

I had a great stay at the hostel! Very homely with great facilities. Lots of free time to explore Bar. The work was good, everything was respected. Bar itself is a great location to be based with easy access to transportation to visit all other areas along the coast and the capital city. The hostel is conveniently located between the old town and new city, within walking distance for both. Emre is very kind and generous. You are never overworked. Less touristy than other places so perfect to have some downtime. Would definitely recommend and happily visit again. Thank you for everything! ❤

I had a great time at the hostel! Bar is an amazing city, and there is so much to do in the surrounding area. I will truly miss it! Emre is an excellent host and cares a lot about showing both the guests and volunteers all the experiences that Montenegro has to offer. The work is simple and easy. Emre cares a lot about his hostel and has some specific standards, so be sure to listen to his instructions. He also respects the schedule and is flexible with the days off. Overall, it's been a fantastic experience. I'll never forget the memories that I've made and the people I've met here!

Emre thank you so much for having me! The experience was truly fantastic! Bar is a beautiful place , with lots of things to do, and the hostel is wonderful! Emre is a wonderful host, very knowledgeable about Montenegro and very generous, attentive to volunteer and guest, it was a joy for me to be part of the staff! My experience at the hostel was very good! The shift were easy and well explained, the host is committed to the schedules and purchases to cover our 3 meals, and also our suggestions around this, he is also very good at making recommendations and is always willing to help. I had the opportunity to interact a lot with the guests and also the other volunteers even though we weren't in the same room together. You have to pay careful attention to the host's instructions because he likes everything his way, otherwise you could find yourself with awkward comments and situations on his part.

One of the cleanest place ever! Emre is super nice and very willing to help you with anything. He does a training with every volunteer, pay attention, do as he says and always respond in the group chat because that's where he's gonna give any observations and important notes. He knows Montenegro very well and has a ton of recomendations. I spent 2 months there and it was one of my favorite countries so far, it's super beautiful and GREAT for the summer! If you have any questions, you can ask me and PS: go paragliding, I LOVED IT!!

The hostel feels like home. The vibe is very calm, and the work too. Emre is a very communicative person and willing to help in whatever you need, he has a very specific way of doing things and the ideal is to do things exactly that way. Working hours are respected as well as what you receive, he buys food for the week and you're free to prepare whatever you want. Bar is a very lovely city with a lot of things to do. I really liked the experience and I even decided to stay a month longer than I had planned. Thanks so much!

Working for two and a half months at the hostel was a wonderful experience. There are 4 hours of work daily, taking care of the reception and housekeeping. Emre is very fair with the workload and offers everything a volunteer needs, in addition to knowing a lot about the region. This was my 7th volunteer and my best experience so far! Emre is an amazing host. He's really nice to the volunteers and to the guests. I see how much effort he puts in his hostel. He's always giving his best. I've felt really welcome here, and I'm leaving with a heart full of gratitude for this experience. I really wish I could stay longer. Thank you for everything, emre :)

I had such a great time in the hostel! emre is really nice, he has great recommendations of places to visit in montenegro, always encourage us of going out and provide us the food we ask for. the work is easy, usually 2 hours of cleaning per day and the rest is reception. the hostel has a good environment, it's organized and feels like home.
