I had a peaceful and relaxing stay at the hostel, the hostel is comfortable, spacious, and clean. The work is as described and the schedule is agreed upon weekly. Flexibility is key as sometimes hours are not decided until the night before. Emre welcomes feedback. He gives great recommendations for exploring Montenegro and there is plenty of time to do so on free days. Bar has a lot to offer, and nearby cities are easily accessible by train and bus. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to explore Montenegro, live the Balkan lifestyle, and relax. Thank you, Emre!

My stay in Bar was a great experience. Emre is kind and welcoming and the location is lovely. The tasks were explained well and were very simple. The hostel is not large and never took more than 2 hours to clean. It's a modern building with excellent facilities and no more than a 15 minute walk into town. I have no complaints and would happily volunteer here again.

Positivos: reuniões para organizar escala de trabalho, faziamos a lista de compras no mercado, mercados e pontos de ônibus próximos. Negativos: anfitrião prefere apenas inglês (mesmo entre voluntários/hóspedes), pedidos para cobrar hospedes fora do horário de trabalho alegando "mas a pessoa está no mesmo quarto que você". Você decide: praia boa a 45min a pé, anfitrião metódico e não aberto a sugestões para melhorar o trabalho dos voluntarios. A falta de ética profissional ao corrigir, tom rispido e depois guerra de silêncio foi um dos motivos de eu finalizar minha estadia antes do previsto.

Had a great stay volunteering! Bar is a great location and definitely underated. The work was easy, hours are respected and Emre is a great host. Lovely hostel to stay in with all facilities available. Feels more like a home than just a hostel. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

I want to thank Emre for the opportunity to volunteer at his hostel. The tasks are simple and well explained, and the minimalist and clean place makes the work enjoyable. I really appreciate the flexibility in schedules and free days to explore beautiful sites, close to Bar. If you prefer, you can take advantage of the quiet atmosphere of the hostel to study a little or work online. Emre also provides the supplies you need to prepare your own food, this is a great. Although speaking English or Turkish is recommended, Emre also facilitates written communication, which helps a lot. Thank you

It was my first volunteering experience, and I'm very happy it ended up being here! Bar is a pleasant town located on the coast, with a stunning old town and a fortress that you can explore for hours. The hostel itself feels very homey, clean and calm. Emra is always available for any questions, well-organized, respects working hours and always ensures that the volunteers don't miss anything. I was happy to come during the summer, as I met wonderful people and gained lifelong memories. Thank you very much! Highly recommend.

I had a great stay at the hostel! Very homely with great facilities. Lots of free time to explore Bar. The work was good, everything was respected. Bar itself is a great location to be based with easy access to transportation to visit all other areas along the coast and the capital city. The hostel is conveniently located between the old town and new city, within walking distance for both. Emre is very kind and generous. You are never overworked. Less touristy than other places so perfect to have some downtime. Would definitely recommend and happily visit again. Thank you for everything! ❤

I had a great time at the hostel! Bar is an amazing city, and there is so much to do in the surrounding area. I will truly miss it! Emre is an excellent host and cares a lot about showing both the guests and volunteers all the experiences that Montenegro has to offer. The work is simple and easy. Emre cares a lot about his hostel and has some specific standards, so be sure to listen to his instructions. He also respects the schedule and is flexible with the days off. Overall, it's been a fantastic experience. I'll never forget the memories that I've made and the people I've met here!

Emre thank you so much for having me! The experience was truly fantastic! Bar is a beautiful place , with lots of things to do, and the hostel is wonderful! Emre is a wonderful host, very knowledgeable about Montenegro and very generous, attentive to volunteer and guest, it was a joy for me to be part of the staff! I recommend 2000000% do voluntary job in the hostel! Thank you again Emre and hopefully we will meet again!!! I will miss my time in Bar forever ❤️

BAR é o nome da cidade. Isso pode confundir alguns voluntários pensando que vai se voluntáriar em um hostel onde funciona um bar/pub também. O Hostel é literalmente uma casa e quem administra é o próprio dono que também mora no hostel. O hostel fica próximo da estação de ônibus e da estação de trem, mas fica a uns 30 minutos caminhando da praia, mas tem opção de ônibus local e a passagem é barata. Tem até bastante opção de mercado. Eu recomendo esse hostel para quem quer descansar, pois o trabalho é simples, fácil, pouco e muito silencioso. Não recomendo para quem não fala inglês.
