The experience

Join our friendly hostel team in the heart of Catania! You’ll help us welcome travelers from all over the world, take care of check-ins and check-outs, and keep the good vibes flowing. (All details can not be seen from the mobile app, so we recommend checking the profile on your private computer or laptop)

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Fluent English or Intermediate Italian

Between 18 and 35 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

During your shift, you’ll also handle light cleaning tasks like a quick kitchen tidy-up or a bathroom check (bathroom cleaning is during the night shifts only, each bathroom will not take you more than a few minutes, it is more of a check, not a through cleaning). Day shifts include taking care of the laundry. You will also help with a few small daily tasks to keep everything running smoothly.

🕓 Hours: 5 hours per day, 5 days a week (2 days off) day: 14:00-19:00 night: 19:00-00:00
