I enjoyed my stay at the hostel, mainly due to the other volunteers. A little thing is that, in my opinion, with the fixed shift from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., sometimes you don't have a chance to rest until 3 or 4 p.m. Also, during the winter, you don't get to enjoy much daylight outside of the hostel with this shift. Maybe incorporating a 30-minute rest time in between shift or, at the very least, not assigning this shift to new staff members would be great. During the low season, it's a calm hostel, so don't wait for a crowded one! The four days off were great :) Thank you for the opportunity!!

This was my first experience with worldpackers and volunteering in general. I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel!! Izzy is a great host, the working hours are respected and fair. Especially the team of volunteers, employees and the guests made my stay unforgettable.

This was my first volunteer experience through Worldpackers and now I have really high standards! The shifts hours are great, your days off are consecutive so you will have plenty of time to know the city and travel to citys nearby.. well located, tasks pretty simple and straightforward, well located and the staffs are super friendly and welcoming! It felt like home away from home! And believe me.. it's gonna break your heart to leave this place! 💙☹ī¸

Volunteering here was definitely one of my best choices. The team of volunteers and the staff are amazing. Izzy has the magical power of choosing extraordinary people, I have made friends for life here. The work was really chill and you can profit a lot of what Lisbon and it surroundings have to offer. I have loved my experience, definitely recommend it to everyone and wish I could be back anytime now! Just a reminder: working with public, sharing the space all the time and facing different cultures is not always easy, but if you're open hearted, this experience may change your life :)

My experience was excellent, this place is my home in Lisbon, very well located, near the metro station... the people who work there are fantastic, everyone is very helpful. The volunteers are family, and I will certainly take this experience for the rest of my life.

This was my first volunteer experience and it was amazing!! The communication between the host and the volunteers is good, the working hours are respected, and the tasks are simple and clear. I felt so welcomed by the other volunteers and had a lot of free time. I am so grateful for this experience and I definitely recommend UGH to everyone who wants to volunteer in Lisbon :)

These past months that I spent at the hostel was amazing, the hostel is really well located. I worked in the night shift, which was pretty chill so I could enjoy my free time to go out and enjoy the city , I had a great time hanging out with guests and other volunteers, met many people from different countries and made friends for life. Highly recommend the experience. Ismael was a wonderful host, very friendly and thoughtful! :)
