The experience

Hi guys and girls, we are looking for a reliable and easygoing person to help mainly at the bar and keep good vibes in our hostel in Siracusa, one of the nicest cities in Sicily.
From here you will be able to explore the best beaches and naturalistic sicilian sites and a lively, safe city full of history.
Experience as receptionist and ability to make cocktails, as well as long term volunteers, are preferred

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Travelers arriving by boat in Drake Bay will need to pay for a taxi transfer to Finca Ganadito (around USD 30).

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

in exchange of 30 hours weekly helping at the reception or bar, we offer accommodation in shared room in a private apartment, plus meals.

Activities & Shift

We can arrange together longer or shorter shifts, depending on your preferences and our needs, so that you can have spare time to do some travel and explore the surroundings. Please note there could be evening-night shifts involved.
