Originally I was going to stay a month but unfortunately I got ill pretty much the second I got to Mexico. I did one day work which was easy and enjoyable, the staff working there are nice. The host Guilebaldo was very understanding and sympathetic, and I didn't feel awful leaving to try and recover in a hostel. The house is beautiful and the city is a whirlwind of culture, food, music and life. I'd have loved to stay longer.

It was absolutely amazing experience!! Hosts are so nice and they showed me the culture and local spots of Puebla. Facilities are also good. So I think this is really great opportunity to see and feel local's life.

I spent two weeks volunteering at the beautiful the home. Geo and Guile were great hosts, welcoming and friendly. They invited me along to social events with them and their friends which was really kind of them and I had so much fun. I worked mainly looking after the many many plants and outdoor areas in their home. The work was physical but not overly strenuous and it was so good to be working with my hands outside in the sunshine. Oh, and their cats are very cute and their tortas are absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend volunteering here, thanks again G&G!

I had an incredible experience. Geo and Guile were so warm and welcoming, and I felt so immediately invited into their home and restaurant. They were also so accommodating when I had family issues and had to leave early. I loved Puebla and loved working at Cosme Tortas. I hope to come back!

Had a lovely time here in Puebla and at Cosme Tortas. Geo and Guile were friendly and were always happy to help me with my Spanish and also of my many questions about poblano food. I left having learn a lot and having met some lovely people:)

The work is definitely doable. 25 hours a week is perfect en you have enough time to explore the city and more. Guilebaldo en Georgina are 2 super nice hosts. There are no regrets for staying at this place. I had an amazing time!

I really enjoyed the stay at the home working in the Kitchen. The hours were manageable and the people working in the kitchen were super great! Ger and guile as well as the other volunteers were very nice and towards the end of my stay invited me and the other volunteers to play some boardgames. I think this is a great experience for working in an actual Mexican business but I do think that it could get quite lonely if you don't know anybody in Puebla. I reunited with my friends from Puebla from last year, but I think otherwise it would've been hard to connect with many other travelers:)

Guile and Georgi are two lovely and very welcoming persons that always invite you to go out with them. Work in the kitchen is very easy and a lot of fun and you have plenty of time to visit puebla and try all the delicious food.

My partner and I stayed with Geo & Guile for 2 & 1/2 weeks. Geo & Guile are so welcoming, friendly and informative. They took us out multiple times to try local Poblano foods at their favourite spots in town (all very yummy!) Work was as advertised, I worked in the kitchen which was great for me learning all the local foods (& the Spanish words for most foods). Geo is a great chef & even shared some of her yummy recipes ☺️ Accomodation is comfortable and shared kitchen was sufficient. Overall would highly recommend to someone, who is looking to fully immerse yourself in the Poblano culture.

What an amazing first worldpackers experience! Geo and Guile have set the bar high! They are such a fun, welcoming couple that love to teach you about Puebla and Mexican culture! They took us out multiple times for food and were full of recommendations! We really felt like we created a life long friendship with their whole family! As for the work, I helped in with their maintenance and housekeeping which was simple and some days I helped Geo's mother ( who is lovely) move some furniture and help style the tortas shop which I found very fun and it was more like helping rather then working!
