I had to cut my trip short due to personal reasons but my time was lovley. The hosts were very welcoming and I learned so much in my short time there. The schedule is preset but the hours are very reasonable, I had the opportunity to cook for everyone which I enjoyed!

A great experience to disconnect and enjoy nature, surrounded by olive trees and wildlife. The vegetarian meals were a nice detox and the accommodation was comfortable. Work is fair, with a mix of indoor and outdoor tasks. Dhara and Samarona are both great to talk with, and I was really impressed by how much Dhara does for the center. I felt genuinely welcomed by them. Thankyou both!!

I enjoyed visiting the center and taking some time to disconnect from the city. I had hoped to help in the kitchen to learn and practice English, but I couldn't stay for the full planned time since I wasn't doing the activities I had signed up for. I only cooked a couple of times, and then the available work was mostly collecting and carrying firewood, which didn't match my expectations. The center is somewhat far from Cecina station, there were mosquitoes, and some days there was no clean water. Still, Dhara was very kind and understanding about my decision to leave early. Thank you for all.

The place I stayed was in a very tiny and cute lodge, surrounded by nature and wild animals! It's isolated from the cities, and you might find it difficult to stay there if there wasn't any other volunteers. (max 2 other volunteers) Due to my personal reasons, I left earlier than I had planned but Dhara was really nice at the end. The only thing I felt uncomfortable was having conversations with Samanora. Except that, the tasks weren't too difficult and ok. You'll enjoy this place if you like nature and the Center!

I arrived with a sincere spirit of service and openness, and I appreciated the opportunity to contribute as a volunteer. However, I encountered some difficulties in communication that made it hard for me to feel emotionally at ease, particularly in my interactions with one of the hosts, Samarona. A specific exchange early on created tension that, despite my efforts, did not find a path toward resolution. I attempted to address the situation and gave time and space for things to improve, but unfortunately, communication broke down. Due to this situation, I had to leave earlier than planned.

My experience with this volunteer program was very positive. The hosts were very friendly and were always willing to help with anything we needed. The place where we stayed was very clean and comfortable, which made our stay much more enjoyable. However, one thing to keep in mind is that the site is far from the village, about a 30-minute walk and the availability of bus to other places is limited, so if you plan to move around without a car, you should consider this factor. Despite this, it was an amazing experience and I would recommend it.

The hosts were really nice and welcoming, making our stay very comfortable. The tasks weren't difficult, and the schedule was quite flexible, which was great. One thing to note—not really an inconvenience, but good to know—is that they are vegetarian. The location is a bit far from town, about a 15–30 minute walk (though there are bikes available). The town itself is small with not much to do; the easiest place to visit is Cecina, but you'll need to take a bus. Despite that, we really enjoyed volunteering with Samarona and Dhara—they also have lots of great stories. Thanks!

Dhara and Samarona were great hosts. Everything was as described. Hours, work and meals. The place is nice and full of nature all around it. Sometimes Dhara led the Center meditations and that was really nice to experience. Samarona has great stories to tell when we sat down for our meals all together. I really enjoyed spending time with them and learning about their life experiences. Thank you for everything! I hope to come back someday! ✨❤️

My stay at the Center was very pleasant. I had the opportunity to share and learn from local people, practice English, be surrounded by beautiful nature in a quiet and harmonious space. Dhara and Samorana are wonderful people with a spirit of dedication and devotion to the center. I really admire the work they do and the effort they make to ensure that everything goes very well. Thanks for me part of my dream. Ana
