Had a wonderful experience at the Center, Dahra and Samarona. The work hours are respected and the work itself isn't very physically demanding. But there's plenty to learn from the place, maybe not from the work itself but Dhara and Samarona has a lot of very interesting stories to tell, thank you both of you for that! the Center in general it's a beautiful place and there are bikes at disposal so you can easily ride to the sea and grab a nice gelato! Thank you Dhara and Samarona for welcoming me!!

The Center was an extraordinary experience. Over the past month, I had the opportunity to learn a great deal thanks to Dhara and Samarona — a warm and kind couple, always patient with us. Every day, we cooked, chopped wood, cleared the land, pulled weeds, and took care of security by reinforcing the fence. I imagine each month brings its own unique needs. We meditated often and came to know the Center's message through his videos. I leave this place with greater resilience and a deep sense of peace in my heart.

We had an excellent experience during our one-month stay. We did a variety of tasks: cooking, cleaning the forest, stacking firewood. When there's a the Center group, the work changes—it depends on the moment and the season, as the needs vary. We had a ride both when we arrived and when we left, and the days off were arranged in advance. The bus stop is about a 30-minute walk away, but it's very manageable. Since it's a small town, buses run every two hours. Dhara and Samarona taught us a lot, and we came out of this experience much stronger. Thank you!

My experience at the Center was truly especial! As my first volunteering, I felt a bit nervous, but everything exceeded my expectations. The dynamic routine kept each day exciting. Dhara and Samarona welcomed me with open arms, and the warm connection with everyone made me feel at home. Clear communication made tasks easy, and the cultural exchange was inspiring. Surrounded by nature, we shared a delicious tiramisu and discovered beautiful little villages nearby. It was a time filled with warmth, laughter, and new friendships—an experience I'll carry with me, always with a smile.

I had to cut my trip short due to personal reasons but my time was lovley. The hosts were very welcoming and I learned so much in my short time there. The schedule is preset but the hours are very reasonable, I had the opportunity to cook for everyone which I enjoyed!

The place I stayed was in a very tiny and cute lodge, surrounded by nature and wild animals! It's isolated from the cities, and you might find it difficult to stay there if there wasn't any other volunteers. (max 2 other volunteers) Due to my personal reasons, I left earlier than I had planned but Dhara was really nice at the end. The only thing I felt uncomfortable was having conversations with Samanora. Except that, the tasks weren't too difficult and ok. You'll enjoy this place if you like nature and the Center!

I arrived with a sincere spirit of service and openness, and I appreciated the opportunity to contribute as a volunteer. However, I encountered some difficulties in communication that made it hard for me to feel emotionally at ease, particularly in my interactions with one of the hosts, Samarona. A specific exchange early on created tension that, despite my efforts, did not find a path toward resolution. I attempted to address the situation and gave time and space for things to improve, but unfortunately, communication broke down. Due to this situation, I had to leave earlier than planned.

My experience with this volunteer program was very positive. The hosts were very friendly and were always willing to help with anything we needed. The place where we stayed was very clean and comfortable, which made our stay much more enjoyable. However, one thing to keep in mind is that the site is far from the village, about a 30-minute walk and the availability of bus to other places is limited, so if you plan to move around without a car, you should consider this factor. Despite this, it was an amazing experience and I would recommend it.

The hosts were really nice and welcoming, making our stay very comfortable. The tasks weren't difficult, and the schedule was quite flexible, which was great. One thing to note—not really an inconvenience, but good to know—is that they are vegetarian. The location is a bit far from town, about a 15–30 minute walk (though there are bikes available). The town itself is small with not much to do; the easiest place to visit is Cecina, but you'll need to take a bus. Despite that, we really enjoyed volunteering with Samarona and Dhara—they also have lots of great stories. Thanks!
