Had a great time at the hostel the location was amazing as only a few minutes walk to the beach and avid plane spotters would love it as see planes coming into the nearby airport all day. Was a great hostel and the staff and other volunteers were great to work with. Are given amble time to go explore San Juan and the rest of the island on your time off and made to feel welcome by Neri and the team immediately. It helped especially being in a new country and unsure of the surroundings. I would highly recommend going to the hostel if going to be in San Juan

My stay here was pretty good, I left another hostel due to bad conditions and Neri, the manager, didn't doubt a minute about giving me the volunteer position. She's amazing. The hostel is really clean, good facilities and great location although if you're looking for the backpacking vibe, this is not the destination. I was there during low season and was boring. But overall good experience

The hostel is really nice, safe and confortable, close to the beach, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The assigned tasks are easy and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the vibe with other volunteers was not as I expected, but I still had a great time. The communication about the shifts was not very clear at the beginning, but then it got better. Puerto Rico is amazing and local people are really friendly. I would recommend the experience!

Do not let the pictures you see online fool you. There are no pictures of the volunteer "dorm" or shower. The "dorm" is a storage room with no windows, 2 bunk beds, and an AC. The shower room looked disgusting. The host said it's a "rustic" look. It was giving Slums. 1) I work online and I need a schedule from them so I can alter my schedule to help them. I never got a set schedule. 2)If I had a question or I wanted reassurance about something, I would text the host and they wouldn't reply until the next day. I have more to say in detail but there is a word limit. Message me for evidence.

Este fue mi primer voluntariado y no puedo estar más contenta con la experiencia. Me toco estar en la sucursal de Isla Verde, Krys fue siempre muy atenta conmigo, a Neri fui conociendo poco a poco y se ganó mi cariño. La mejor fue Diana, ella me capacitó, me guió, se dio el tiempo de conocerme, aclaraba siempre todas mis dudas, agradecida por siempre de haberla conocido y poder tenerla de amiga 🫶🏻 Para futuros voluntarios les digo que la comunicación es CLAVE para tener una linda experiencia, volvería una y mil veces! Te amo PR 🇵🇷♥️

El hostel es el mejor lugar que me pudo haber escogido, un lugar en donde pueden encontrar paz y a la vez sumergirse en la cultura local, si están abiertos a todo, aprenderán mucho de las chicas y su trabajo. Diana, Neri y Kriss son las mejores anfitrionas que he tenido, siempre preocupadas de cada uno de lxs voluntarixs, respetan el horario y lo acomodan a tus necesidades, todas tienen muuuucha paciencia y por lo menos yo, me sentí como si estuviera en mi hogaaar❤️‍🩹. Full lo recomiendo y volvería sin pensarlo🫶🏽

Habitación compartida cómoda para las voluntarias y bus enfrente. Pero muy poca gente en el hostel ( dificil para hacer conocidos) y habían cucarachas en todo el hostal , hasta en nuestro cuarto. En temas de tareas y horarios, mis horarios fueron siempre respetados y cuando caí enferma o necesitaba cambiar mi día libre , totalmente comprensibles y sin problemas :) Y en tareas, Habrá días que te mandarán a hacer el housekepping estando ya tu en recepción y a veces incluso sin avisar. Falta de comunicación y a veces piden demasiado con lo de Housekeep para lo que ofrecen; cama y instalaciones.

Unfortunately, Rinuha stole another volunteers package and took the contents. Rinuha denied taking the volunteers package but was seen on camera and identified by the delivery driver as taking and opening the package.

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue magnífica🫶🏻 lo recomiendo mucho siempre y cuando seas consciente que hay responsabilidades que cumplir y puedas trabajar y convivir con los demás, para que tu experiencia sea grata en todo momento✨. El lugar se encuentra en una excelente ubicación. Neri, Diana, Krys y todo el equipo son increíbles y siempre están al pendiente. Me encanta Puerto Rico, siempre es un lugar al que vas a querer volverrrrr🇵🇷❤️

Está sin duda alguna ha sido la mejor experiencia que he tenido en un hostal, el trabajo súper fácil y flexible. El ambiente increíble y la locación perfecta, a solo 5 minutos caminando de la playa. Todas mis compañeras fueron increíbles e hice muy buena relación con ellas, mientras que Kryss a sido hasta ahora la mejor manager que he tenido. Ella es increíble, una persona muy social, amigable y con un gran corazón. Gracias por todo Kryss 🫶🏼 Amé mi experiencia muchísimo aunque me tuve que ir antes de lo previsto por asuntos de trabajo los hosts entendieron. Sinceramente el mejor voluntariado.
