Great experience! I was apart of the Apartments team, which meant I was staying as a volunteer at the hostel but would do the housekeeping at several co-livings that the hostel operates. This had great work/life balance with only 2-3hrs of work a day for 5 days a week. The apartments team manger is super energetic and funny. And the hostel manager is incredible, he will always go above and beyond to help you out. All the other volunteers were incredible whilst I was there, they truly shape your experience and form most of your memories!

It was my first volunteering and it was amazing! The hostel is super comfortable and well located. The staff are as well super welcoming persons. Ramiro was my manager…… such a great guy! The tasks were super easy to understand and the best part for me was to have 3 days off! I super recommend this experience!!!

I had a really good time! the work was easy and only a couple hours a day so there was enough time to chill or see the island. they did have a little bedbug problem what caused me to move rooms a couple times. Apart from that I had a great time and met some really nice people!!

The hostel is a place which has a lot of potential, but because of management sometimes it's not as functional as it should be. Thankfully the volunteers I worked with made my experience amazing and the island itself has some really breathtaking spots!

I stayed in this hostel for two months, and they were two amazing months spent with wonderful people—guests and volunteers alike. The work we were expected to do was fair and reasonable. The hostel itself was very charming, beautiful, and welcoming. It was truly a memorable experience!

Im glad they let me arrive later because of sickness but unfortunately is not a good place to stay. U cook with cockroaches in the sink plates are with cockroaches u eat w/ cockroaches at the table, u take shower w/ cockroaches. I arrive there 3am and there was nobody to receive me then a guy open the door and I could enter and then I was going to sleep in the reception because I didn't have a code to enter in the dorm and then a girl left the room and I slept in an empty bed. And this happened to a lot of people because never there is people to open the door and 12 people sharing small room

I ended up being in Compass house but I had an amazing time. The volunteers basically run the place alone. We are often left to our own devices because the three managers are busy with a lot of things. But that is not necessarily a bad thing. I had a great time with a big team of all the volunteers of the three hostels! We spend a lot of time together and I made friends for life. The only thing that could be improved is the organization. Thank you so much!

My first volunteering experience at the hostel was perfect! The manager was friendly, and there were many other ppl to make friends with, as the dorms are mixed. The island has great spots to explore accessible by public transport. The hostel itself is chill with an amazing the hostel, though it's 5km away from the beach. Work was nice i was in the apartment team which had shorter but intense shifts on the apartments team. I learned a lot of spanish, but i wish i had the official managers all my stay instead of the substitute who wasnt good . It was a great experience 4me but can be subjective!

We spent a month at the hostel, it was low season so we were as many volunteers as guests, which wasn't a bad thing. I really enjoyed my experience because we were able to do lots of things on the island and share lots of good times, which felt a bit like a camp. As for the work, I think there's room for improvement, but on the whole it's not very difficult. The rooms are pretty basic, if not rudimentary, but you get used to them. I loved my experience and would recommend it, but I think it's mainly thanks to the other volunteers :)

I spent 7 weeks volunteering at the hostel and truly had an amazing time. The work was fine and since I was working in the apartment team and it was low season I would often finish earlier. However what truly made the experience so great were the people that I met and since most volunteers only stay a month I met two amazing groups. As for the hostel there is definitely room for improvement (shelf next to the bed, curtains, training of volunteers). I had to move rooms multiple times cause of bedbugs, which is however taken seriously by the managers and they take measurements immediately.
