I had a very good time in the hostel! The people you met really make the place. The work in hostel is pretty much, but they do try their best to make it as diverse (different shift on different days) for you. The hostel is not very clean, I think because they only have volunteers in the hostel and not a cleaning team besides it and not every volunteer cares that much. I would recommend the hostel. You will have much fun with the volunteers and guests. The atmosphere they creat with jam sessions and family dinners is really fun!! :)

Especially the other volunteers at the hostel(approx. 18) made my stay such a fun time. Also the managers are really friendly and create a chill and respectful environment. On the downside, there are cockroaches, the volunteer dorms don't have a window to the outside, partly no lockers, and a door that doesn't lock (the cave). Besides there is one volunteer responsible of the whole hostel after 5 pm, since none of the managers are available by then :( Overall my experience in Las Palmas was great, I don't regret it at all!

I had a really great stay at the hostel! I met so many great people there and it made the stay a really great experience. The volunteer rooms arent the nicest but thats not a big of a deal you will be spending most of your time outside. The work was pretty chill and easy to do most days. Thank you guys!

My stay at the hostel so far was full of new experiences. Even if the volunteer rooms aren't the nicest, you probably won't be spending a lot of time there anyways, seeing that the rest of the hostel and Gran Canaria is so beautiful! In this hostel I have met so many cool and meaningful people, especially other volunteers, that made my stay here extra special. I was put in the hostel team and I would say that the workload is fine and manageable. I'd recommend the hostel to anybody who likes meeting new people, making new friends, going out and literally living in paradise :)

I had an amazing experience at the hostel! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly and I have felt more of a community there than at any other hostel I've stayed in. The work is simple and the managers are really good with communication and are always open to hearing suggestions or concerns we have. I did feel the work load wasn't split evenly between volunteers but again, managers were very willing to help and alleviate any struggles we may have had. I would definitely suggest volunteering at the hostel overall!

It's a nice and easy, with great people, located in the nice old part of las Palmas, but don't get to excited, you gonna live in a bunker, with really limited space, and absolutely no privacy for your entire stay, but that's how it's usually is at a Hostel to be fair. but if you don't think so much about your sleep and privacy, then this is a perfect stay, nice and open people, a fun way to meet new people from different parts of the world. Work to benefits ratio is not enough, we should either work less or get one meal a day to make it fair in my opinion, but apart from that i enjoyed my stay

My experience at the hostel was good! It took a few days for me to get settled in, but once I did I loved it. There were 15 volunteers and the guests are super nice so it's easy to meet people. For the work, there are 4 teams that have very different schedules so it'd be worth talking about the schedules and type of work beforehand. This was my first volunteering and I thought the sleeping arrangement was interesting to say the least but it grew on me. Overall the experience was worth it, but they could honestly give a bit more for the amount of work they have all the volunteers doing

I absolutely loved staying at the hostel and with it all the people that i've met. People from all over the world, I've had the most interesting conversations and sooo much fun with them. I had to finish the work early because of health issues but it wasn't too much to do as it was low season anyways. I would love to have gotten food aswell, because the place where I slept had no window to outside and it was very dusty and dirty and for that I think the work was too much compared to what we get. Nevertheless I don't regret doing this one bit and I will forever have good memories to this place.

The work can be hard on some days and easier on others. But working hours are well respected. The hostel is a very good place to socialize, as there are many young people and the hostel is a lively place.

You don't join a hostel, you join a FAMILY! I went there not knowing what to expect, and I have found an amazing group of volunteers and managers that really make you feel at home or better than home! I learned a lot, especially working behind the bar, and I definitely had a lot of fun. The managers are caring and they make sure they can help you whenever possible to make your life a bit easier. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT!
