This was my first WorldPackers experience and it did not disappoint. I had the opportunity to live at and contribute to a beautiful and welcoming hostel/hotel and collaborate with great individuals. The staff was so warm and welcoming and I now think of them as my second family, even if I was only here for 5 weeks. This was also a great experience to work on my spanish and meet fellow travelers from all over the world in the town of Palomino. the hostel is a quiet environment, so don't expect otherwise, but that's nice for being here at least a month.

It was truly enriching, offering a fantastic blend of impactful work and a supportive environment. Located near Palomino's main attractions and beautiful beaches, this opportunity provided a nurturing atmosphere that encouraged personal growth and community engagement. The work environment was exceptional and the flexibility in scheduling allowed me to balance volunteering with exploring Palomino's attractions conveniently. Overall, my volunteering experience in Palomino was incredibly rewarding, leaving me with valuable skills and cherished memories of making a difference and enjoying it.

The experience was really good. The people who collaborate there are very friendly, always willing to help with whatever you need. In my case, I was welcomed with a lot of warmth and care. Although I enjoyed the experience and was happy to help wherever needed, I initially applied for social work expecting to work with the community. Once I arrived, I was informed that this wouldn't be possible due to internal reasons, which were later explained to me, and I understood. Nonetheless, the overall experience was wonderful. I'm very grateful and highly recommend it!

I had an okay time at the hostel. The room is clean and nice. I was the only volunteer and it's not the best place If you want to make friends with other backpackers as there is not a lot coming in. The hours were fine, breakfast was impeccable and so is the morning shift. Kitchen lady was a little rude but that got taken care of very well by the host. I didn't finish my stay because of the reception work, we worked two in the reception when there was no need for it. Also I applied for social work but didn't do any kind of social work.

The hostel is an Amazing place! A paradise in Palomino. They welcomed me and the staff was all so nice to me. That was wonderful. Because all that I left early, this because I was expecting a Hostel with multiply backpackers rooms/dorm. But there is only one, the rest are all private rooms. Maybe I should have done better research before. But the days I was there were beautiful. the hostel is a small hostel, can be quite and not much work to do but is also relaxed. Thank you the hostel for the experience.

The hostel it's been one of the most iconic experiences I've ever had. The hostal is beautiful, the staff members and team are very kind and lovely. I could learn more about my country and explain the culture to travelers from all around the world. If you have a hippie soul you must try to volunteer in Palomino. A paradise in the Caribbean coast in colombia. Thanks to Bryan and Hegel for this amazing opportunity!

I had such a great time at the hostel for my first stay. Everyone was very welcoming when I arrived, and made me feel very at home. The first thing to note is how clean the hostel is, by far the nicest place I've stayed on my 4 month trip to southern America! The hours were very manageable, and the team was great fun to work with. By the end I had really improved my Spanish and learned a great bit of Colombian cooking! Thank you to Hegel, Bryan, and the rest of the team!

The experience at the hostel was good. It is a clean, beautiful space, and the staff is super nice. It's a good place to practice Spanish too. If you need to work or if you're needing some rest durong your trip, I highly recommend it, because the place is calm and relaxing. I would suggest agreeing on the schedule beforehand because it wasn't really functional for the work and for the volunteers.

The team at the hostel are an absolute pleasure to work with! I worked evening shifts, normally 4/5 hours a day and the work is really easy and enjoyable because of the people you work with. Palomino is also a lovely place, nice beaches and a good spot if you're looking for a chilled relaxing experience.
