I had an amazing time volunteering at the hostel. The place is beautiful and has everything you need: a lot of outdoor space to chill, a gorgeous pool, a massive kitchen and a free shuttle. But what I enjoyed the most was the feeling of community. I made great friends with both volunteers and guests, who truly made this place special to me. The work was fair but 25 hours of cleaning can be a bit much. If you get the chance to do reception, give it a go! Great way to meet the guests too 😊 Thank you for 3 wonderful months. I will be back!

I had the incredible opportunity to spend three months volunteering at the hostel in Médano, and it was an experience I'll cherish forever. The tasks were varied and fulfilling, from helping maintain the hostel's spaces to organizing activities and events for guests, reception and cleaning. What makes this place truly special, though, is the people. The other volunteers, the travelers passing through, and the incredible team at the hostel special thanks to Viky, Rebeca and Mariano! 🥰 Love the nature around, this is the perfect volunteering ever!

I felt very welcomed at the hostel!The owners, other workers and volunteers were nice and helped me improve my Spanish☺️The hostel is beautiful and I got to meet fun people who stayed there for a long time! The volunteer room was small but the kitchen was really big and they bought for us some fruits and veggies every week. The work could be a lot for volunteering, sometimes I had to work 5 hours without a break to finish the tasks. One time the manager checked private rooms 20' AFTER our shift and had us redo them because we "didn't do it right", which was very upsetting and unfair😕

I had a great experience volunteering at the hostel! I was handling the Instagram account and felt like the work was fair. I made great friends with the other volunteers and guests and have to say it's the best volunteer experience I've done so far with Worldpackers. Going to miss everyone and hope to be back soon!

Had a lovely time at the hostel. I met some amazing volunteers and guests. It is nice to have long term guests too so the place feels very homey. I also had a part time remote job and it was a great environment to combine work and volunteering. The place is a little remote but we had free shuttles to take us to a big bus hub.

This is the perfect experience if you want to stay in a chilled place and to know people from many different places. This hostel has a lot of family vibes and you can relax, work but also have fun. The work is like they tell you and is an easy job, mostly cleaning or reception, so you can have a lot of time to discover the beautiful island of the hostel. Two services that I've appreciated a lot are the pool and the free shuttle, with which you can go to the nearest beach, to the bus station or to the supermarket. This was my first experience as a volunteer and I totally recommend it.

Volunteering at the hostel was an unforgettable experience! Nestled between El Médano and San Isidro, it's run by the warmest family and has an unbeatable vibe—a perfect balance of relaxation and fun in the sun, work by the pool or co-working space. I helped with housekeeping, cleaning, and reception- which is manageable plus you have support from the team. The owners are open to new ideas for events, which makes it even more special. I'm so grateful for the experience and can't wait to return! Thank you, the hostel!

Volunteering at TreeHouse hostel was my first experience as a volunteer and I came to the perfect place! the hostel is great for meeting new people, there is a lot of space where you can sit and talk to others, there is a big kitchen where we always cooked meals together, the work was easy and the people were very nice, helpful, smiling and open. After work and on days off we always organized trips with other volunteers to visit this beautiful island. I recommend the hostel to anyone who wants to spend time with great people and be enchanted by the beauty of the hostel ❤️🌞

My experience at Treehouse hostel has been amazing! I had the opportunity to meet new people from all around the world and make friendships that will last forever <3 Viky and Mariano have always been kind and patient and trying to involve all the volunteers in the hostel activities. The place is wonderful and so peaceful. The closest city is El Medano and it is reachable by free shuttle provided by the hostel or by foot. However, if you want to explore the island and enjoy the hostel at its best I suggest you to rent a car. The main language spoken were Italian and English.
