This is probably the most successful of all possible projects I could have found myself in. Immersion in nature is like rehabilitation from active life in the city. The owners have created a wonderful place where they invite volunteers for a commercial exchange - you provide 30 hours of your working time, they provide full board with food and accommodation. It resembles a social experiment, but it is always worth remembering that you are responsible for everything that happens inside the project. I feel only gratitude and sincere friendship to all the organizers of Lljara

I had an absolutely incredible experience staying at L'Aljara! The place itself is beautiful, surrounded by nature and with such a peaceful vibe. The hosts were beyond welcoming. The tasks were well-organized, and I always felt supported while learning new things. The atmosphere was amazing, with great conversations, delicious food, and a sense of community that made it hard to leave. I couldn't have asked for a better place to volunteer—thank you for this unforgettable experience!"

The experience to L'Aljara was very good. I have to say really thank you to Daniela and Elkin and other volunteers that they made me feel at home. The experience in this small educational small farm was really good for the volunteers and the animals. On the other side you have to adapt to some small things that are not so difficult. The work is good and sometimes is hard but i think it's a part of this life. When i finished the experience i was sad. So thank you

I had a good time at L'Aljara. The people I met there were amazing and we had so much fun together! The work tasks can be quite hard sometimes but you have a variety of things that you do (caring for the animals, sanding and helping with whatever needs to be done) which I liked. You only have wifi in the kitchen and it doesn't work too well. Concerning the food it was really basic, there's always toast which I as a vegetarian ate a lot with butter and jam or cheese. They also have ham, eggs, meat and my volunteer colleagues always cooked a vegetarian plate for me when we ate together!

So here we go! I spent about five weeks at L'Aljara, where I had the opportunity to meet some wonderful people and make lifelong friends. The hosts and managers are respectful, and you can easily get along with them. The tasks at L'Aljara were varied and quite enjoyable. I helped with cleaning and housekeeping in Airbnb cabins, sanding palette lumbers, cutting firewood, among other tasks. However, when it comes to food and hygiene, it is not what you would expect. The rooms are far from being clean and ready to receive volunteers, and the kitchen cookware and tableware are old and inadequate.

Had an incredible first experience with 1st Worldpackers. The atmosphere was fantastic, thanks to amazing hosts Danny and Elkin. Work exceeded expectations, and shared moments like Christmas and Candle Day enriched the cultural immersion. Suzanna and Antonio became family—devoted, passionate, always ready to help. Concerns addressed: constant food, clear atmosphere away from cities. Transportation to Córdoba arranged, and they're accommodating. Lucky to join them; unforgettable start to my professional journey.

Travelers need to know that they will live one of their most unforgettable experiences of their entire lives. They will be surrounded by one of the most magnificent landscapes they could have ever imagined as well as the constant sounds of nature with its both daylight and nocturnal animals. A place where they will be able to feel so much peace and quietness that will give them a sensation of welfare and relax so difficult to reach because of the noise and stress caused by today's city life. Hosts will always use polite manners and clear instructions to explain any of the required tasks.

Overall, L'aljara was a beautiful place to live for a month. I met amazing people (volunteers) and I feel so grateful for the kindness that Daniela and Elkin-the volunteer coordinators-showed me. However, in my experience, the majority of the work I did was not “volunteering”, it was cleaning cabins for the property owners' Airbnb business. The tasks aren't the most meaningful, but the free time you get after the work day makes up for it, for the most part. Additionally, you get access to sufficient food whenever you want in the kitchen and the shared cabin spaces were clean and comfortable.

I was with the farm team for one month. Everyone can find here what he is looking for. I tried to improve my English and my cooking skills in my spare time. Cordoba is a beutiful city, you can see it. Antonio and Susana are creative people and they are imroving Al'Hara. I am also grateful to Elkin and my colleagues. I have learned a lot here and have had an inspiring experience. Hope we can see you again sometime.
