My wife and I had an amazing experience during our time with Debbie and Dan. Located in Ticheville, their property is a large and beautiful the home, so the main activity was weeding. There is a house on the property for volunteers where we spent 5 weeks just my wife and I, and 2 weeks sharing with another lovely couple. As we were there during the summer, we managed to spend most of our time working in the home visiting other cities on our days off, even managing to enjoy a few festivals during our stay If you enjoy a peaceful and natural setting, this place will be perfect for you!

The hosts are friendly, attentive, and very approachable, always willing to help and explain everything. They are people who left their mark on our hearts during our stay. The activities are as described, lots of weeding, taking care of the animals, taking care of the home - we found several moments of rest for our minds in this activity - and they respect the times and activities agreed upon. The place is stunning, and the days and nights are very beautiful. It is a great experience to meet Debbie and Daniel and also to get in touch with nature in a wonderful corner designed by them.

Deborah and Daniel offered an amazing experience at their the home restaurant/hotel. The work consisted mostly of weeding, gardening, cleaning and taking care of animals. It was great to be outside in their lovely the home enjoy the sun while working. The town of Ticheville doesn't have much itself, but it is a quick hitchhike to neighboring towns and cities that are full of wonderful sights, stores and patisseries. They were wonderful hosts, provided us food and some other necessities on a weekly basis, and even picked us up from the nearest train station when we arrived. Would recommend!

We are very appreciative for Debbie's kindness and for a great first World Packers experience! She was very communicative from the start, she picked us up from the train station when we arrived, and made us feel very welcome. We loved spending time out in nature and enjoyed the work we did! We had to pivot from our original World Packers plan last minute and I am so grateful that Debbie answered our application and allowed us to come volunteer here instead!

My time in ticheville was good. The work hours are respected and they give you what you need to be in a small town isolated from everything. Debbie and Daniel are very nice and concerned. Many thanks for everything!!

My experience was good, Debbie and Dan were very kind to us and the place is very nice. It is still a little far if you are looking to go out to explore or see cities and it was very cold on our winter days, but I imagine that in summer the place is very beautiful. We also shared with other very nice volunteers. Thanks Debbie and Dan :)

I only have good words about this volunteering. An experience that he would repeat without a doubt. A shame because we had to leave due to personal problems but the time we spent there was incredible, you can disconnect from everything surrounded by nature, we are very grateful, Daniel and Debbie were very kind and friendly with us at all times, I wish we had stayed longer: '(

If you really enjoy nature, countryside and your solitude, this is your place. Most of time you're alone, because Debbie and Dan go some days, giving you daily or weekly tasks. At the same time, they take care of you, always asking if you need something. For me, this was a reconnection. Thanks a lot ☺️

Our month in Ticheville was beautiful! It is a very isolated place and if you want to visit other places you have to use blablacar or hitchhike. However, if you want to slow down and be fully connected with nature, this might be a nice choice for you. The working hours are 5 and work takes place mostly in the large and beautiful the home (some exceptions are to work inside the hotel in rainy days or to help the hosts with some house cleaning). Regarding the food and the relation with the hosts I have nothing but nice words. Debbie and Dan are very nice people and take care of you ♥️
