Help us around our house and enjoy the sunny Australian weather.
The experience
Helpers who are interested in a hands-on experience in Nature and the wish to try new skills in a variety of tasks in the house, garage, pool area & gardens. Must be wanting to live a healthy & drug-free experience. Autumn is here and the weather dries up with cooler nights. Most helpers to date have found our home 'interesting' and something new for them. We hope new helpers will have the same experience.

Program Details
To call a stay at our home a Program is difficult-let's just say that it is an opportunity to live free and naturally amongst the nature that is the forest, birds and other native wildlife that we have here. Also to enjoy the many tourist pursuits available in our Whitsundays & Islands.
Activities & Shift
Normal days are - up early and out into the nature in the cool of the morning, those helpers getting too hot can dive into the rock pool to cool off regularly, as it is the tropics here. A wide range of tasks are on the list for dry & wet weather days and the skill level of the helper concerned is taken into account. I come from a multi trade skills background.
Rules
Be honest, tell us what you feel and ask us if you need something- do not just take- then you will learn a lot about living in our area the way we do. Lowering our Carbon footprint each day is important. We are on rain water , so a need to be careful with it now it is the dry season. Our hot water is from solar panels. Toilet is on a septic system, so again care needed in its use, have a great day.
