This was my first time volunteering and it was amazing. I really love the tours, the city and the nature that I was exposed to. The tasks that you need to do are very simple and you have a good time for do your things.

Volunteering with Santiago was a brilliant experience, dogs were amazing and in addition to working at the shelter we also got to support some business development and artwork tasks, however Santiago made sure we were always comfortable. He was also committed to showing us the local culture and cuisine, and helping us advance our Spanish, he even ran a lesson for us and another guest!. Occasionally there was a lack of structure but this wasn't a problem for us, and they were grateful for our flexibility and patience. A great experience & we gained new friends from all over the world :)

Well well... what a mess!! First of all, the breakfast and dinner are not included as it's supposed to be. When i first arrived i had to buy my own grocery, one of the owner said that he will pay me back but it never happened and then an other owner play the card of : it was an error of worldpackers, nothing's included, anyway you work for us its not a free lil vacation and 20$ is not that much (which is not but is to simply respect what they offer in return of help). + that same owner was actually eating our food and never gave me back my shades. Oh and about the schedule, it is chaotic!

It has been quit an experience at the shelter! The first day we already found an abandoned puppy which we could luckily take home with us. After a week of giving him lots of food and love he really felt like home at the shelter and was everbody;s favorite. Also all the other are so sweet, if I could I would take them all home with me. The view of the Cotopaxi is amazing! And also the views you'll have during the walks with the dogs are stunning. If you love dogs and nature this is the place to be!

Well i had a great time. The family is extremely nice and vary welcoming ,the views are stunning mt Cotopaxi is out my back window . There are great walks to go on and every one makes you feel like a friend pretty much right away.,but bring GLOVES i was the only one who did and i felt bad for every one els. And be ready for hard work, also the closest store is a 30 min walk but they will take you in the truck pretty much when ever you ask in a tiny village and they don't have much so just be prepared. Water proof boots are kinda a must. But its a great place a good time a vary relaxed.

The Farm is really far away from the next town. The way there goes through unsafe territory with probability of being robbed. Fausto is welcoming and Kind but does not really care too much about you. The room he gave us was a little bit dirty and had no storage for clothing. Also bathroom and kitchen were untidy and dirty. We only stayed one night but the tasks were cleaning the dogcages. It seemd like this had not been done for a long time which made it a little disgusting. The farm is no more what it looks like on the internet! Fausto was injured and lost his wife which broke the system!

My experience was wonderful: Victor, Mayra, Santiago and don Humberto are kind and generous people. The place is amazing, nice views and people in Sigchos. Besides, Fausto don Fausto in the shelter, are inspiring men, the dogs sanctuary is a deeply recommended place to stay, a little paradise on earth. Thanks to all these amazing people.

We were really lucky to have been able to host for Lenin. He is very nice and respectul and we learned a lot from him. Lenin was good at working with his hands and always willing to help with any task. Lenin showed also that he is a great teacher and I was very impressed by his respect and communicative skills at his classes. Thanks a lot Lenín. It was great to meet You! We hope that you come back soon with your amazing team.
