Las semanas que estuvimos en el hostel fueron bonitos. Santiago nos dio la oportunidad de recorrer y ver los paisajes hermosos de Latacunga en más de una oportunidad, además de probar la comida tradicional. Hemos preparado desayunos para los huéspedes, arreglamos y limpiamos los ambientes y cuidamos del lugar. Disfruté mucho mi tiempo ahí.

Nuestro tiempo con Santiago en Hostel el hostel fue muy amable. Nos gustó tener la oportunidad practicar nuestras habilidades de hospitalidad, servicio de comidas, y limpieza con el en ese lugar. Recomendemos esa experiencia para personas que quieren ir a Latacunga, especialmente si quieren visitar Cotopaxi y Quilotoa - los recorridos que ofrece el hostal son muy chèvre. Gracias por todo, Santiago - estamos agradecidos!

This was my first time volunteering and it was amazing. I really love the tours, the city and the nature that I was exposed to. The tasks that you need to do are very simple and you have a good time for do your things.

Voluntarear en the shelter fue una experiencia muy enriquecedora. Los casi 150 perritos que hay en el albergue son un amoooor ♥️ y las tareas que se realizan para ayudar a estos seres son bastante sencillas. Santiago y Fausto son excelentes anfitriones, el lugar es maravilloso con una vista impresionante al Cotopaxi. Ultra recomendadoo!!!

Volunteering with Santiago was a brilliant experience, dogs were amazing and in addition to working at the shelter we also got to support some business development and artwork tasks, however Santiago made sure we were always comfortable. He was also committed to showing us the local culture and cuisine, and helping us advance our Spanish, he even ran a lesson for us and another guest!. Occasionally there was a lack of structure but this wasn't a problem for us, and they were grateful for our flexibility and patience. A great experience & we gained new friends from all over the world :)

It was a great experience. I felt like at home and I learnt a lot of new Spanish words! Sometimes a lack of organization but I did different things wich is very rewarding. Good vibes I recommend it

Well well... what a mess!! First of all, the breakfast and dinner are not included as it's supposed to be. When i first arrived i had to buy my own grocery, one of the owner said that he will pay me back but it never happened and then an other owner play the card of : it was an error of worldpackers, nothing's included, anyway you work for us its not a free lil vacation and 20$ is not that much (which is not but is to simply respect what they offer in return of help). + that same owner was actually eating our food and never gave me back my shades. Oh and about the schedule, it is chaotic!

Si quieres tener una experiencia diferente y ayudar realmente en un voluntariado te recomiendo que hagas voluntariado con este host, ya que podrás realmente sentir que ayudas a un causa, los perritos son muy tiernos y cariñosos, en verdad querrás adoptar uno! Santiago es muy buena persona y en todo lo que necesites el te va apoyar, igualmente si necesitas algo el estará para ti. Fausto es muy buena onda y un poco loco, té para reír mucho. Eso si prepárate para el frio del lugar, recomiendo que lleven mucha ropa abrigada....

Estoy muy agradecida con Fausto, con su padre y con su amigo Santiago, gracias por recibirme junto a mi amiga Lary. fue una experiencia muy enriquecedora y admirable, pudimos ser partícipes y testigas de cómo logran brindarle un hogar, el refugio y muchoooo amor a los más de 147 perritus que tienen en el refugio, sin duda alguna fue una semana que me dejó el corazón lleno de ternura y amor ¡les voy a extrañar! fue un gusto. les envío un fuerte abrazo y que las mejores energías les acompañe hoy y siempre ✨✨
