My stay in Bundoran working at the hostel was truly wonderful! If you're considering going there for getting to know locals, surfing, and a good time, then I definitely recommend the place to be right for you! I had a lovely time and got along really well with staff and locals. I cannot wait to come back :)

I loved my time at the hostel! I was lucky enough to join a team of awesome people who were always down for a surf, explore, or a night out! I had such a good time and the people really made the experience the best. This was my first time volunteering and while it was a good experience, there were times when I felt if we all communicated a bit more the daily tasks would have gone a bit smoother. There was a bit of confusion as to the tasks and expectations but we got it sorted out in the end! Overall the work was easy and fair! the hostel was super chill and the people were awesome :)

My experience at the hostel was great! The manager Monia is very fair with the tasks and the place is beautiful, 5 minutes walk to the nearest beach. The city is very pretty and the people are nice, had a great time and would definitely do it again!

I had a great time working at the hostel! The workload is very fair and varies (housekeeping, breakfast or reception shift). The hostel itself has a nice vibe and is located close to the beach and a beautiful cliff walk! You get in touch with a lot of travelers from all over the world but also with locals and guests from Dublin, who are here for the weekend. Everyone was very friendly and open and I really enjoyed my stay.

The best experience and the best time in Ireland, Monia and Diego are incredible, they are the best. They care you and guide you during your stay, also Monia is a great manager who loves welcoming you and you will love her, she is really cool. The job is easy and pretty chill and also enjoy Bundoran, it is a magical place. Cheers

It has been a personally enriching experience, although there are some things that I think could have been improved. The hostel and in general the Bundoran area is quite quiet during the week and completely crazy during the weekends (in autumn). I would have liked to be able to surf more, but here the car is a must if you want to enjoy the area and visit other areas, as the bus schedules are not very extensive and the town is quite small, in a week you have seen everything.

Thanks Danni glad you enjoyed your time. In winter often you need a car or a lift to explore surf. In spring/summer the swells are better for local beaches for beginner surfers

Foi a melhor escolha que fiz ter voluntariado no hostel, conheci pessoas maravilhosas dentro e fora do local, a cidade é linda, a praia fica do lado do hostel e tem paisagens maravilhosas. As horas de trabalho são justas e flexíveis e a Monia (host) foi super receptiva, atenciosa e sempre ajudou em tudo que eu precisei. Guardo Bundoran e the hostel Longe no coração :)

Estoy muy agradecida por mi tiempo en el hostel. Estuve durante temporada baja y no me toco trabajar tanto en general por lo mismo. Se respetaron mis horas de trabajo y mis días libres. Si te gusta el surf es una gran opción porque como voluntarios tenemos el equipo gratis. Disfrute mucho mi tiempo ahí y la compañía de Monia y de los otros voluntarios 💓 Bundoran es un pueblo chico, pero aún así se siente como estar en casa. Sin duda volveré en un futuro!!
