I had an amazing time volunteering at the surf lodge in Bundoran! Everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming . It's a perfect place if you want to learn how to surf, and it's also ideal if you're looking for some peace and quiet since it's a small, relaxing town. The work hours are very manageable, so you have plenty of free time to enjoy the waves or even take weekend trips on your days off. Thank you to everyone who made my stay so special. Overall, it was a great experience, and I truly hope to come back at some point. :)

Awesome experience with a great bunch of people. Had a wonderful stay, the work is fair and the other volunteers are super chill and friendly. Learning to surf in my free time was super easy and fun here. I'll be back here at some point for sure, thanks for the opportunity Monia!

I spent two months volunteering at the surf hostel in Bundoran and it was an unforgettable experience. From day one, Monia, Coalan and all the team made me feel part of the family, always full of positive energy and ready to help with anything. The atmosphere at the hostel is unique: volunteers and guests quickly become friends to share laughs, surf sessions and unforgettable moments with. A place with a truly special vibe and amazing people. Highly recommended!

Very fair amount of work asked, the tasks are very easy and the schedule is very flexible. I really enjoyed my stay here, the team was very welcoming and so nice. There's a lot of regular customer from different countries that allowed me to practice my English and a little bit of Spanish. I'm very greatfull for this experience.

I spent almost three months in the hostel, where I felt at home from the first day, both Monia and Peter make sure there are no problems, the people you meet are wonderful, I am Spanish but you meet people from all over the world and you learn a lot, it is very enjoyable. They are very fair with work hours, and very open and resolutives.

My time at the hostel was truly amazing and I can only recommend it to anyone. I will definitely be back. The work was as I expected it to be and working hours were very well respected. Altough Bundoran is a small town it is very lively and there is lots to do. You can go surfing, explore the nature around, go to the pub and meet other travellers as well as locals. Monia and the other volunteers I worked with made my time here absolutely wonderful and I will always think back of the memories I made here.

I stayed at the hostel for 2 months, and I really enjoyed it! I learned how to surf, I experienced the irish culture, I met lovely people, and made some unforgettable memories with both the volunteers and the guests, or even with some local people. The work was actually easy, just basic cleaning, and answering the phone. The manager was very flexible with the working hours, she always respected our wishes! I 100% recommend this place!!!!

My experience in the hostel was something I will never forget. It was my first experience volunteering, and I think that thanks to the good feeling that this volunteering left me, I will do it many more times! The work is very simple and gives you a lot of free time to surf or do activities with the amazing people there. If you are a surfer, volunteering there is perfect. I take all the good experiences and the love from Monia, Nikki and the other volunteers with me. I hope to come back soon!

I had an amazing time at the hostel. I felt immediately welcomed by Monia, the manager who is a super nice woman, and the other volunteers as well. I spent 5 weeks in Bundoran, which btw is an adorable little town, and time flew by. The working hours were well respected and the work itself was not too demanding. I didn't have to do anything that surprised me. In your free time you can go surfing, which is fun! We volunteers grew together very quickly and experienced a lot together. They made my time there unforgettable! There was never a dull moment in the hostel. So I can only recommend it!

I had a great six weeks at the hostel! The manager Monia was lovely to me. She was very good at respecting the agreed upon hours & always flexible and accommodating. The work itself was not too challenging & I never felt asked to do too much. I learnt to surf with the equipment there, & would highly recommend it as everyone was so encouraging & always up for a surf trip. The town is lovely & the surrounding countryside beautiful. & I will miss the sofas in the common areas - so comfy! By the end everyone felt like a family - you will make friends for life! Would definitely recommend.
