I loved this! You are immersed in the Nepali culture and everyday life. There is so much to learn from the children, older siblings and parents. From the very beginning they made me feel a part of family. Sujan is very supportive and helpful. I was doing yoga and meditation plus some activities with the children. You are asked to contribute $10 a day in exchange for 2 homemade meals that you share with the whole family and accommodation at the separate property so you can help cover the cost of your stay and contribute a little something to help out. Highly recommended!

Staying with this family was an amazing experience in terms of learning about the nepali culture, traditions, and Kathmandu's history. You really immerse yourself in the nepali lifestyle, you are served nepali meals, take part in typical rituals and explore the city - Sujan always keeps you busy! if you are really into spending quality time with the kids make sure you go during school season. Please inform yourself beforehand. I stayed during the Dashain festival and only got to see the kids for the first 5 days. Despite that, my two weeks were brilliant and i'm sure you will enjoy it as well.

The family and the children are lovely and made me feel like at home since the beginning. Although the hostel is in the outskirts of Kathmandu, it is surrounded by a beautiful landscape and it's a really nice place to stay. However, I would recommend to go when children are on vacation, so you can spend more time with them, because they usually have school from 9 to 5. Feel free to contact me and ask me if you have any questions :)

It was an amazing experience for me, out of your confort but the family and the children are lovely. I'd never learn so much about a culture and you can't imagine the landscapes and the feeling there. I just want to say that it's better if you come when Children are in vacations if you want to make some projects with them :) Feel free to contact me and ask me if you have any questions !

Inspiration You can travel in all the organization and is going to be amazing but my experience in the organization has been totally deep, my heart is hugged for the beauty soul of every kid, Sujan's mom, his sister Sumitra... I can say that mountains and hills are not compare with what my heart have been feeling all these days; every day I discover more of what is really important in life. Thanks a lot to Sujan and his family for holding this home where I found how is a pure heart, how wonderful is simplicity, how far I am from that. I can rest at night with a smile just remembering the day.

Sharing this moment together with the family of the host Sujan was wonderful! Do you feel like family! The accommodations and meals were also very good! I'm already programming the return! Thank you Sujan, my brother, and your whole family for this wonderful time. Thank you.

I had an amazing time volunteering at the organization. Everybody welcomed me there like I was a member of the family, and the kids were incredible. They were smart, cute, curious and thankful for everything. They taught me so much, way more than what I taught them. the organization is a wonderful country, with so much to see and discover: everything is a culture shock and yet I loved all of it, because it all felt true and honest. I could only recommend to volunteer in the organization, and in the Children's Home. This is an experience I will never forget.
