Amazing place! Felt like home with adorable children and great "staff" who felt more like family than anything else. We played games, danced, helped with homework, cooking and much more. A very open and free environment, and a good way to meet other volunteers and get to know some locals. As Sujan (our host) said "we focus on the happy aspect of taking care of the children". And you can really feel that in the atmosphere of the place. That is one of the reasons why we ended up staying longer than planned, -we fell in love with the place and the people ^^

The organization... what can I say?! I had a big experience living with this family. All of them so kind and friendly! The childrens are amazing. The way they interacte with you, share things and ask for help, with a lot of curiosity in everything, is a great way to see the life in different ways and also to know more about the nepali culture. Thank you for being part of the family and thanks for all smiles, hugs and memories I will keep it in my mind forever for sure!!

I can't recommend the organization enough. The home is a place filled with love, peace, compassion and bright futures! The kids are adorable, fun and wiser than you expect. Sujan, your main host, is a young Nepali social entrepreneur that acts both as a manager of the home (and all other projects they have/support) and a hard working and caring big brother to whom the kids look up to. The rest of the family is in the home as well and are all extremely welcoming and sweet. Besides that, you will get to explore the organization: a beautiful, colorful, safe, peaceful and calming land.

I had an amazing time volunteering here. The kids and family are wonderful and accept you into their family with open arms. I spent my time hanging with the kids, giving them drawing lessons and teaching them about pollution and planets. When I wasn't volunteering I was getting local insight into living in the organization, as well as tours of temples and the culture thanks to Sujan the coordinator. I've recommended doing this to my family and friends and I think it's really worth the authentic Nepali experience.

I stayed for 3 weeks and a half at the guest house. I learned a lot with the kids and family, also shared some ideas and point of view. The kids are just incredible, I had a hardtime to leave the house, because it was everyday receiving from them much love, hungs and the little voices calling me "Sistar". Every single kid has a particular world inside so, I advise you to go and find it by yourself. Also go and see that maybe that tiny Idea you have can turn out as a big move to their growth and evolution.

The children are lovely and the family is wonderful, they make you feel part of the family as soon as you arrive there. However, as I went in summer we were a lot of volunteers and sometimes there was little work to do for all of us.

The kids are mostly great, however lack basic maturity levels. The idea of the project is something that I love, however the execution and delivery requires work in order to fully function properly. In terms of what you will be doing, ask before coming how many volunteers will be there: any more than 1 or 2 and you will find little to do unless you want to do things like social media promotion etc. in my case I came specifically for the kids, so when I got asked to do this I felt pressured to say yes which I didn't like. Overall, if you love kids it will be an eye opening experience.

I have been loving my time at the Children's the organization. The kids are so very awesome and full of love. They totally take you in with their innocent love. The house is a happy and warm place. Being from India, there are many cultural overlaps but nothing beats the experience of learning about a place through children. The Pariyar family is doing an incredible job of running the place. The kids are bright, smart and well behaved at the same time. I really hope that all of them can do very well in lives and fulfill all their dreams. Oh! and the food is brilliant.
