My experience at the hostel was short, because of a family emergency, but great! Naoko was always just a text away and helped with anything we needed. The other volunteers were super nice and the atmosphere in the house was very welcoming. The tasks were simple and not very long. Unfortunately, for my italian standards, the staff house was not the cleanest. It's completely managed by volunteers, so it reflects on the people you have around... but other than that was filled with all the basics. The only thing missing, that I would add is lockers for the volunteers valuables.

It was the best experience I've never had. Naoko and Robin are so flexible with the schedule and kind people. Sometimes, if there is any spot free, you can join the northern lights tour and it's so incredible. The shifts are easy and you have enough time to visit the city. I really miss all the volunteers, we were like a really family with Burger. I can't wait to come back.

It's been an amazing experience, Robin and Naoko are amazing, the job is super chill and you share your experience with a bunch of other international travelers. I would highly recommend it. Hope to be back soon!

My volunteer experience in Tromsø was amazing. The tasks were easy, varied daily, and took 2-4 hours with flexible hours. Naoko always considered our schedule requests. The house is comfortable and cozy, but it needs lots of maintenance. However, during my stay, I saw several improvements based on volunteers feedback. The same goes for the hostel. The group I lived with made my trip unforgettable, I'm very grateful for them. I could see the Northern Lights both from the hostel and on Robyn's tour when there was free seats for us. I just left and can't stop thinking about returning 🏞️

My experience was wonderful, the place is very beautiful and the people I met became friends, The job is very simple and the city of Tromso has everything you can possibly need. Robin and Naoko are very helpful and listen to every piece of advice. I think I will come back maybe in the summer to see the landscape with different colors

I had a great time in Tromsø the hostel! The tasks are completely duable and the team is amazing: a lot of people from everywhere and a perfect place where to practice english and get to know new cultures. In your free time, a lovely city surrounded by nature. I totally recommend this experience!

I stay 5 weeks in the hostel and what a month ! The team of volunteers was amazing, we did so much stuff in our free time together. The work is quite easy and you will be well trained :) Naoko and Robin are flexible and understanding and always willing to improve stuff for the hostel or the volunteers. And big thank you to Robin for letting us come to a northern light tour and help him :)

It was a fantastic experience! I loved life in Tromsø, the work at the hostel is really simple and takes a few hours of work per day. Naoko and Robin the owners are kind and helpful! The volunteers are all beautiful souls 🥰I will also miss Burger 🐶 I absolutely recommend this experience!!

An experience that I will remember all my life! I was supposed to stay 1 month, finally I stayed almost 2 months. This volunteer is perfect for meeting travelers from around the world. I improved my English and my Spanish, with the 18 roommates. It's very nice to live in the hostel. Everyone is very nice and open. There is always someone to go out and do an activity. Naoko and Robin (managers) are very nice. It is possible to work alongside volunteer. We are working only 2 hours a day in a flexible way, except when we receive (4h Shift). Tromsø is a city full of opportunities.
