I spent nearly 3 weeks with clemency and his family and from day one I felt completely at home. clemency was open to feedback happy to accommodate food preferences and organized many tours and hikes for us. his wife witness teached us so much about traditional cooking. working at the school was both fun and eye-opening giving me authentic inside into the children's daily lives. One challenging aspect was witnessing the use of corporal punishment as children are sometimes disciplined with a stick. Looking back my time with clemency was truly enriching! I will miss the warmth and of the family.

I had a wonderful experience with the Clemency family. They welcomed me as one of their own and took great care of me throughout my stay. The food was delicious, and I got to enjoy the tours organized by the project while being fully immersed in the local culture. It's an experience I will never forget. Thank you, Clemency, and send my regards to everyone there!

Clemency and his whole family are amazing and so kind and welcoming. The kids Dani and Dari are lovely, and Witness cooks delicious food. I was with the local veterinarian and learned a lot and got to see lots of Tanzanian village farms and meet so many locals. Clemency also organized lots of tours and experiences for my free time. I would love to come back in the future and I definitely recommend this volunteer experience. You will be a part of the family and experience and learn a lot. Thanks Clemency!

When we were there the weather was really cold and rainy so for us it was sometimes freezing. We didn't expect to be this cold and didn't bring enough warm clothes. The house was also cold at night which was uncomfortable. The food was good but it was surprising that the kitchen is outside next to the animals but thats how people live there. The kids were really friendly and cute, the other parts of the family haven't communicated that much with us. They took us to a waterfall and banana beer tour and coffee tour which were great.

It was a unique and memorable experience. The working hours were fair, and the food was good, though a bit repetitive. The kids were sweet and lively, if sometimes a bit unruly. Our host was kind and helpful — they asked about our favourite foods, took us to a waterfall, showed us how to make coffee, and were always ready to assist. While we didn't quite feel like part of the family and conversations were limited, we appreciated their hospitality. We tried to help whenever we could, though sometimes it felt like they preferred to observe rather than collaborate.

The cultures is not same in the world so as guest we did’nt want you to over work or asking for help for work every time so its not like no collaboration but make you feel at home which you say you didn’t feel and am not understanding or can be your culture as well. Aslo was no limitation limitation of Talk is like you can talk always without point otherwise you bring the topic on board. What i can say culture are diffrent won’t be same 100%

Jambo, Clemency! The experience as a whole wasn't great, nor terrible. The host is very helpful, he answered to all of our questions. The house is modest with no mosquito nets but if you have repellent you should be okay. The accomodation is far from the city and 6 km away from the bus station. Activities with the children were limited, but we volunteered during Chirstmas break so they didn't have materials such as books or a board. One thing that really bothered me about the host was the safari, we talked about going to a park and we ended up in another one, finding out when we were there.

The experience was a mix of positives and negatives. The host picked us up from the airport, showed us around the village, and provided meals, except when we ate out. We also had a coffee-making session, and the host was helpful with directions and questions. However, the accommodation was unclean, lacked insect nets, and was far from the city, as well as the orphanage. The food was simple and repetitive. Activities with the children were limited due to their age range and lack of resources. The safari trip was also disappointing, as we were taken to a different park than expected.

Amazing experience! I stayed with Clemency and his family for two weeks and was one of the best experiences of my life. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful with us, I felt super comfortable the whole time we were there. Witnesses's food is the best! Daniel and Dari are the cutest kids and Nora and Naomi are so friendly. At the school the teachers and the kids were amazing. I learned so much from them. I completely recommend this experience. Thank you so much for everything!

Clemency is an amazing host, super nice and always available. His family is also great, the house was comfortable and the food was really delicious home made food. Because I was making videos I did all the activities available and I volunteered in the school and on the tree planting project, and I loved every second of it. I felt very safe and so so happy to be in the nature and in such beautiful village. Thank you so much Clemency for everything, I had a very special time in your house (:

We (vet and vet nurse) took part in the veterinary program and thoroughly enjoyed it. Each day we went out in the village with the local vet to help treat different animals. We learnt about many diseases that are exotic to our country and different farming practices. It was good to be able to share our knowledge and experience from back home to create animal health plans together with the local vet. Clemency and his family were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We enjoyed learning how to cook the local dishes and playing football with the kids. We will miss our new friends and home.
