It's was simply my best volunteer experience ever! I just have good things to say about the hostel. The environment is great, the staff are super friendly and Amarilis is great. Everything was awesome and I highly recommend it!! 🥰

It's difficult to explain how great was my experience at the hostel. The staff is perfect, the place is a great mix between city and nature. You are constantly surrounded by great people. It was the first time they experienced volunteers in winter, which included helping in some tasks such as housekeeping, reception and kitchen but you are never considered as a worker, and the staff is responsible and friendly. Organizing activities for the guest was a great experience. It was even better than what I thought, thank you !

Being a volunteer at the hostel was the best thing that could ever happen to me <3! It was my first experience with Worldpackers and I could not have asked for a better one: the staff is so so lovely and welcoming, the tasks for the volunteers are extremely fun and enjoyable and perfect to immerse yourself in the local culture and explore the city and its sorroundings. The hostel is perfect for anyone who wants to meet international people while experiencing Norway! I strongly recommend this experience I could not be more grateful for this opportunity! Love you all❤️

My time at the hostel was everything I could have wished for and more. The staff is incredibly welcoming and the job fits the description. Volunteers have total freedom in terms of choosing the activity of the day, and the daily « free coffee and cookies » is a great opportunity to connect with fellow travelers. The location is amazing and Bergen is a lovely city with plenty of mountains to explore, whether you're an experienced hiker or not. I'll remember the karaoke nights, cabin trips, card games, icy hikes etc. for a very long time <3 Thank you the hostel team for a hell of a ride!!

This was my first volunteering experience and it was simply amazing! Amarilis is such a lovely and warm person who really wants you to have the best time. You have the freedom to choose the activities you want to do with the guests and if you are in doubt about something the staff is always there to help you. Except of the amazing city that Bergen is, you also have Baunehytten (the cozy cabin in nature) to go to. I would 100% recommend you to apply to this hostel. Thank you the hostel for the amazing time together and the beautiful memories! It's not a goodbye but see you soon <3

The hostel is simply amazing! I would recommend everyone to volunteer here :) We (the volunteers) had completely freedom to choose the activities we wanted, we met very good friends and enjoyed nature a lot. I will miss Bergen and its nature very much, also Baunehytten and making waffles for hikers/guests. Hope to come back in the future ❤️

Volunteering at the hostel was probably my best volunteering experience; since the very first day I was warmly welcomed by the staff, the tasks are very easy and enjoyable so much that I've never really felt the need for a day off; volunteers are always free to organise what they feel in therms of activities and they always have the maximum support by the rest of the staff. I got to know not only the international travelers that everyday come and go, but also some of the locals that hang out at the hostel. A lot of nature, fun and chill vibes. Thanks to the hostel for this opportunity!

I had the best experience in the hostel, the time really flew by! All the staff is super kind and welcoming, the volunteering work is great, the freedom in choosing the daily activities allowed us to really discover Bergen and its surroundings. The tasks really emphasize on the social aspect of the hostel, you meet guests from all over the world during the activities and coffee&cookies. And what a better way to end the week than going to Baunehytten on Sundays and baking waffles in this lovely cabin! Thanks to the hostel crew for making this experience amazing :)
