The surf camp Tamarindo is definitely something different! I met so many great people, slept in the attic, worked a couple of hours at the tiki bar and had a lot fun during; meetings, beach days, parties, pool and chats with everyone.

I had a great experience here! Everything was so easy, and care free. I didn't have to worry about anything whilst staying at the surf camp! The activities and the people there were great also, it is such a great way to meet other travellers and travel on further if you wish to. 100% would recommend if you are just starting your travelling journey:)

Currently in my cab away from the surf camp feeling very very sad. Had an amazing time with beautiful people and experiences. The vibes at camp are great and you really feel like home after a while. It's like living with a big family 😁

I loved my experience at the surf camp! You meet so many amazing and sweet people and there's always something to do like cultural festivals, karaoke night and various excursions! The work was easy and quickly done and the food is always fresh and delicious🥗

The surf camp is a great place to go if you want to meet new people, learn how to surf and party. You'll make strong connections with people there as you spend the whole time with them and might even end up travelling with them to other countries!

I initially only planned to stay for a month but ended up extending my stay because I loved it so much! The camp is great for solo travellers because a real community is made from their volunteer program. There are lots of different activities and excursions but also lots of time to relax! Michael was very helpful and although he wasn't able to be on site during my stay, he was always reachable for any questions I had! The amount of work reflected what I was told prior to arriving and I was given lots of creative freedom within my role :) I highly recommend and would come back in a heartbeat!

I loved my time at the surf camp. It felt like a summer camp with adults and the vibe was so fun. Everyone is super friendly and it's super easy to meet other people. One thing that I'm gonna say is, you are in the middle of the jungle, don't expect to have AC and a queen bed. I was aware of this before going, so I didn't mind at all. You are giving a bed and sheets, two great meals a day and the showers and bathrooms are pretty clean. If you don't like camping or bugs I wouldn't recommend this place to you, you are outside 24/7. The people you meet are gonna make your stay 100% worth it 😁

It's all about the people you meet! A lot of people end up leaving a few days early to continue travelling with friends they made at the surf camp. The yoga classes are really good and the activities & excursions are super fun. Depending on where you stay (dorm, tent, glamping tent) will really impact your experience.

My time at the surf camp was chaotic to say the least but I had a wonderful time. There's a nice balance between chill days and busy excursions/nights out. There are so many people coming in and out of camp you are bound to find some amazing friends but it definitely can be overwhelming at times and is important to find your own routine to not get exhausted from it all. A great way to spend a few weeks in what would otherwise be a very expensive part of the surf camp
