I had SO MUCH fun at the surf camp! I made a lot of life long friends from all over as well as amazing memories. Staying at the surf camp is kind of like camping, the accommodation is not very nice. But, totally worth is for how cheap/how little work you're doing while you're there. I felt very safe.Yoga teachers were great, food was yummy, and the company was top tier. Lots of volunteers who are fun and friendly. Every day was full of surfing (or trying to haha), sun bathing, yummy food, and lots of laughs. If you're not bothered by a little dirt and a few creepy crawlies..I 100% recommend stay here!

The surf camp is the absolute best, from weekly excursions, daily free shuttles to the beach for surfing, and constant activities around the camp itself to keep life exciting, the surf camp will be the best three weeks you can spend volunteering. The people are great and the atmosphere is exactly what you look for while traveling. Whether you want to have a chill day by the pool during the day or go crazy at night, the surf camp has it all. I worked behind the bar and was able to meet so many great people that I'll never forget, will definitely be back soon!

I just left 2 hours ago and I already miss the surf camp. I had such a great time from the minute I arrived to the second that I left. I shared so many great memories with so many great people from around the world. Every day was a great day no matter if you went on an excursion or just chilled at camp. The bar is where it's at 🤙 and the games at camp are always a blast. The staff was also great. Ollie is the man he really holds it down out there in the jungle. Carlos is a great owner and I really thank you guys for a great experience. Pura Vida! I would highly recommend the surf camp to anyone.

I loved being the social media director at the surf camp. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I met some really incredible friends and there was always fun activities to do at the camp. I recommend going on the organised excursions to other beaches to see more of the country. Definitely do the yoga and surf lessons too.

I am so thankful for my time at the surf camp! If you are looking to improve your surfing, meet new travelers as well as locals, and live simply, then this is the place for you. The people are so kind and the energy is great at camp. There are many ways to get involved in camp because activities happen just about everyday such as karaoke, excursions to new beaches, flunky ball, and pickup soccer games. Shuttles to town run just about everyday, but it is important to know that sometimes you might have to arrange your own accommodations to town whether that be Uber or taxi due to high numbers.

Beautiful experience, we were planing to stay for 3 weeks and finally we were so happy that we extend 1 more week. The experience was truly amazing, the workers are the best and the connections with other travelers I will take it for my hole life. For sure I will recommend it and if it's possible come back some day🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽

We loved our time at the surf camp! The atmosphere was definitely more party oriented than expected, but there were opportunities to rest and connect with nature if you look for them. 8am yoga every morning was one of these chances (there are extra mats, we regret using luggage space to bring ours). Great people, fun paid excursions! The value was definitely there - an hour of simple work like meal prep/serving, raking, pool cleaning, or dish washing and $110 per week is more than fair for Tamarindo. The camp isn't right in town but there were daily shuttles. Bring eyemask&earplugs to sleep!
