I had such a great time on Kamal's farm, the whole experience made me calm and it was a nice break from my busy work and fast phase travels I did before. I spent a lot of time hanging out with Jenish who is Kamal's son, we had so much fun. Cutting wood in the forest and helping out with all other tasks on the farm like watering the mushrooms, feeding the cows, and cutting vegetables for food preparations. We also harvested the honey and went camping a few times on the mountain just a quick walk from the farm. So many good experiences, recommend it fully if you want a true local experience.

My stay at the farm was truly one I will never forget. I felt apart of the family from day one, I felt so looked after by the entire family- sharing every meal together. We were blessed with the most beautiful home cooked meals everyday, that we helped prepare the fresh veggies for, all from the farm cooked with love by Goma and Aamaa. The farm work was enjoyable, it was so special to watch the shiitake mushrooms growing during my stay. I would recommend this experience to anyone, especially for your first time in Nepal, to immerse in the local culture with this beautiful family.

Kamal and his family were fantastic hosts, they truly welcomed me as one of their own that it was difficult when it came time to leave. I appreciate the guidance they gave me and the way Kamal and Goma thoughtfully answered my questions (which were many!) The work was not difficult and I learned so much in the time I was there. The views and location are fantastic, I will never forget the hike and camping trip up the mountain. The food is also incredible and some of my favourite moments are of preparing and enjoying the food together. I highly recommend this beautiful experience!

I really recommend Kamal's place! Kamal and his family are so kind and so welcoming. They take really good care of their volunteers. The food was healthy and delicious, the place was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, and the work was easy and fun. I wish I could've stayed longer, but even in the short time I was there I learned a lot about traditional beekeeping, growing mushrooms, raising cows, and also got to enjoy some trekking in the forest around the property and learned a lot about Nepalese culture. They have the best milk and honey ever too! Thank you so much for the experience!! <3

I immediately felt home and the family was amazing!! I loved being outside the whole time and working in the field. The work depended on what had to be done but it wasn't much. Being able to go on walks or go camping in a beautiful environment was nice. I met amazing other vollenteers and made great memories!

Homestay with Kamals family was peaceful and also fun experience. Very welcoming family, great organic food! Had organised amazing hikes up the mountain with other volenteers. Also stayed there for the night in the tents. Magical experince with campfire, fullmoon and stars. Beautiful woods and views around. Didn't have so much work to do, so I had a lot of free time. Also no yoga, but there is yoga room so you can do it anyway. Trip to Himalyas were organised. Not for free thought, but you must discuss the price. Overall great experience with authentic homestay! It was really wonderful. Kamal and his family made us feel part of it as soon as we arrived. We had less work to do probably because of the winter season, but it was still an amazing experience of which we learned a lot. Besides, we truly enjoyed the peace of the place and we used the extra time for little group trips, so that was great. All in all, an unforgettable experience that stays close to your heart.

I can really recommend this place to everyone who wants to experience the nepali way of life. Everyone was super nice and as soon as I arrived I felt as part of the family. Everyday was different so I got to experience many different things but also had enough time to relax and do what I wanted to do. I will miss the whole family and hope to come back soon.
