I have a wonderful time with Kamal and his family. As many others have said, they are so welcoming and you quickly feel like part of the family. The meals are delicious and very nourishing. I had a lot more free time than I was expecting, but when I did work it was fun and I learned a lot. Thank you for an incredible experience. I hope to come again!

Kamal and his family offer a truly welcoming place to stay. They make you feel like a part of the family from the moment you arrive. While I was there, there wasn't too much work to be done on the farm but that was okay as it allowed for a lot of free time to explore :) If you're heading to Nepal, I would definitely recommend taking the time to visit here and immerse yourself in the culture and surrounding nature.

I truly found what I have been wishing for at the farm with Kamal's family. It's a very special place where you can take the time to enjoy simple things, sharing little moments like harvesting vegetables and cooking local meals with the family and the flying bees all around. Or go on trecking in the beautiful surroundings and enjoying the sunset and sunrise by a huge bonfire… Thank you to Kamal and the whole family for this beautiful stay ! I higlhy recommend it !

I had such a great time on Kamal's farm, the whole experience made me calm and it was a nice break from my busy work and fast phase travels I did before. I spent a lot of time hanging out with Jenish who is Kamal's son, we had so much fun. Cutting wood in the forest and helping out with all other tasks on the farm like watering the mushrooms, feeding the cows, and cutting vegetables for food preparations. We also harvested the honey and went camping a few times on the mountain just a quick walk from the farm. So many good experiences, recommend it fully if you want a true local experience.

My stay at the farm was truly one I will never forget. I felt apart of the family from day one, I felt so looked after by the entire family- sharing every meal together. We were blessed with the most beautiful home cooked meals everyday, that we helped prepare the fresh veggies for, all from the farm cooked with love by Goma and Aamaa. The farm work was enjoyable, it was so special to watch the shiitake mushrooms growing during my stay. I would recommend this experience to anyone, especially for your first time in Nepal, to immerse in the local culture with this beautiful family.

Kamal and his family were fantastic hosts, they truly welcomed me as one of their own that it was difficult when it came time to leave. I appreciate the guidance they gave me and the way Kamal and Goma thoughtfully answered my questions (which were many!) The work was not difficult and I learned so much in the time I was there. The views and location are fantastic, I will never forget the hike and camping trip up the mountain. The food is also incredible and some of my favourite moments are of preparing and enjoying the food together. I highly recommend this beautiful experience!

I really recommend Kamal's place! Kamal and his family are so kind and so welcoming. They take really good care of their volunteers. The food was healthy and delicious, the place was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, and the work was easy and fun. I wish I could've stayed longer, but even in the short time I was there I learned a lot about traditional beekeeping, growing mushrooms, raising cows, and also got to enjoy some trekking in the forest around the property and learned a lot about Nepalese culture. They have the best milk and honey ever too! Thank you so much for the experience!! <3
