Working at the guest house Hostel was a very positive experience. It was my first time working with Worldpackers, so I was a bit stressed, but everything turned out really great. Hugh is a wonderful host who responds quickly to all messages and helps solve any problems. The work wasn't hard and was 100% in line with what I'd agreed to. The people on my team were wonderful, and we created many unforgettable memories together. the guest house became my home away from home. All in all, I highly recommend it :)

This volunteering experience is truly amazing! The work is not too many hours and quite easy, which gives you plenty of time to explore and enjoy so many beautiful places in Seoul. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful yet fun experience!

It was a very positive experience. Our host Hugh is a very attentive, respectful person who cares about the well-being of the volunteers. When we mentioned the humidity in our room, he did everything possible to fix it. Cleaning work can be tough depending on the number of rooms to clean, but we always work with a partner, which makes it a bit easier. As for the guys I volunteered with, I can only say they have been the best teammates I've ever had, I'll miss them a lot!

Such an amazing experience, Hugh is really kind and the work is quite easy, you have a lot of free time so you can explore the city. I loved the guesthouse and their people, every one was so nice that it felt like a second home. I recommend this place 1000%

This experience was amazing! The guesthouse is only 30 minutes from the center of Seoul by subway (the station was just a 7-min walk). The tasks were easy. I only did the cleaning shift, which was from 11 AM to 3 or 4 PM. After finishing the cleaning, we had to stay at the reception. We also had three consecutive days off, which gave us time to explore. I shared the room with three other girls. It was very large and comfortable, we had a lot of space for our belongings. Hugh was really an amazing host, kind, attentive and always making sure we had everything we needed. I recommend it!

I've had some really great days at this guesthouse. The work is easy and not too heavy (unless you get guests who leave the room looking like a pigsty, of course ahah), and three days off a week is more than enough. Hugh is such a lovely person and makes everything easier for you. All the coworkers I've had have been amazing — we really bonded with each other. I really hope I can come back, because I've loved the experience.

My time at the guest house was a blast! It was my first time working while traveling, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The work was easy, straightforward and manageable, which gave me plenty of time to explore the city. Communication from Hugh was excellent - clear, quick, and helpful throughout, which made everything run smoothly from start to finish. Location is also really good - 6mins by train from a v lively area. Shoutout to the team working there too! Just to add, Hugh is very accommodating that he even orders vegan ramen for the veggies/vegans at the hostel:)

It's a nice place to stay! First I needed a bit time to get used to Seoul but now I really like it. So I will definitely come back! ☺️ The tasks are easy and you are always finish in time. Hugh is so kind and helps you all the time, if you need something. (Thank you for that! 🥰). What you should know is, that you are sleeping in the basement or rooftop. The basement has no windows and it's a bit dark. But you have a own fridge, a table, sofas and a projector with a big screen. So perfect for a movie night. I had a good time and a lot of fun! 😌

This was my first time traveling solo and I felt welcomed and at home immediately! The other volunteers were really nice so I never felt alone :) The tasked were easy and clearly communicated with good training and if something was uncertain we could always ask. Hugh is really kind and understanding. I also really liked the location because it is a less crowded area but with great connections to the whole city thanks to subway line 2. I really enjoyed my time and can't believe 2 months are already over
