I had a great time at the hostel! It instantly felt like a cozy place and everyone made me feel at home. The location is absolutely stunning and all the staff are amazing people! Would definitely recommend this place if you want to meet locals, enjoy the nature and are looking for a chill place to stay.

Having a hard time gathering words to sum up my wonderful experience… the hostel has a special place in my heart. My 2 month stay was not long enough. I explored all over South Africa, but every time I came back to the hostel after traveling domestically, it felt like coming home. The staff, the other volunteers, the locals all feel like family. The surf community took me in and I learned so much. I will cherish this forever, and I will return. the hostel is so fun from the ocean being steps away, the live music, and kind people everywhere. It was my first experience with volunteering, it marked my heart forever. The local people and staff always responsive, kind and nice. I had wonderful experiences and I literally cried with gratitude for this opportunity. Very happy to have experienced this in my life and I hope to return one day to visit everyone.

The volunteering at the hostel was amazing. The staff is always willing to help, with patience and care. People are loving and kind, both in the hostel and in the hostel. The city is safe, quiet, besides having coffee every day looking at the sea. I had wonderful moments that will be stored with affection forever. We control a family. Thank you the hostel for the experience.

The hostel is such a magical and special place! Volunteering there was one of the best experiences in my life and I'm so happy and thankful. Everyone in the team is extremely kind, caring and makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive there. While working there you're given the chance to meet amazing people, not only the staff, the other volunteers, the guests but also many locals who appreciate this lovely place. The work is fun but you'll also have a lot of free time to explore the hostel with its beautiful beach, mountains and nature. Thanks a lot, I would always come back! 🩵

From the first moment I arrived, I felt at home! Lizie coordinates the team perfectly and makes sure everyone is happy. There is a very great atmosphere of cooperation! Annie is a wonderful woman! In my case, they helped me a lot to improve my English; they were patient. All the staff is wonderful! And thevolunteers,s too! The local people are very nice and are always willing to help or show you the most beautiful places! Without a doubt, it is the most enriching experience I have ever had! I recommend it 100%. 💚💚

My time at the hostel was one of the most loving, adventurous, fun filled volunteer opportunities I've ever had. I feel so grateful to everyone at the hostel ( Annie the owner, Lieze the manager and the whole full-time working team) for allowing me to be a part of such a welcoming, friendly and caring community for the past 2 months. the hostel is such an incredible hidden gem of a town and I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to have experienced life here. I had the most amazing time of my life at beachhouse. A big thanks to Annie, Lieze, the beachhouse staff and the amazing volunteers with whom I started with (love you & miss you already). The atmosphere here is peaceful yet incredibly dynamic. On Thursdays and Sundays you get experience amazing music and vibe with the locals who make volunteering very fun. Here you will make great friendships, learn about yourself and enjoy fantastic nature. I left beachhouse a different person than when I first arrived and I mean that in the most positive way one can imagine. Thank you 🧡

Best volunteering experience I did so far. I loved every day of my stay at the hostel. The owner, the manager and the staff are just amazing people who will make you feel like home and will always be ready to help you. The job is fun and gives you the chance to meet local and international people. the hostel is a beautiful village surrounded by nature, that offers a lot of activities for your free time. I'm so grateful and happy to have been part of this family for two months. I'm gonna miss BH and all the people I met so much! So thank you Annie and Lieze, you've been so special to me 💛
