This was my first experience as a volunteer! It was very good, accommodation and food as agreed! I only missed the English classes that were in the description, as I felt a lot of difficulty in my first days. The team was wonderful, I made many friends, I learned a lot and I would definitely take the experience for life! 🇮🇪

My experience was very good, the house is beautiful and it is close to a very beautiful beach, the bike rides and walks in my free time were incredible. At the end, I had to leave earlier since there is no telephone signal in the house and, when he asked me to change my room to a house where the internet was failing, I was afraid of being cut off at a time when I needed to be in communication with my family.

The lodge and the island are beautiful. I had a private room, bike, and a good kitchen to cook (we need to make our meals). I was near touristic points. But There are no yoga or english classes, we don't have the same days off, the activities weren't well shared between other volunteers. Advice: You need a intermediate level of english as a minimum (don't go only with spanish). If you are a sociable person, 1 month is the enough. I changed my plans and I stayed less than 1 month because the place was so quiet FOR ME and for my plans, Seàn undestood and help me with my new step! Thanks!

The island and the lodge are also a nice place! Sean is a respectful and very committed gentleman. However, he did not meet the expectations of what was agreed upon! maybe because he was focused on another project! I ended up working long hours and most of the time I did everything myself! The work itself is not difficult, but it becomes tiring and heavy when not done as a team! That's why there should be a scale of activities so that volunteers can take turns and help each other! Above all, I'm grateful for the opportunity and it made me learn a lot about valuing my work and knowing my limits

Thank you Yohanna for your assistance for the past month. I am sorry that you had to leave a little bit early. We had a few busy days - however the amount of work for the three of us was not huge. You decided on your workload and did not ask for assistance. There was a breakdown of communication and I am sorry for this. .You were working with another person and the workload was to be shared. Your health is very important and taking care of that is the right thing to do. Best wishes.. Seán.

I spent two months at the Lodge, it was an amazing experience. Sean, the host, is a really welcoming, fair and goodhearted person. The place where the Lodge is, in my opinion, is the most beautiful spot on Inishmore. The work was pleasant (because involves so many people from all over the world), fair and not too hard. I had plenty of free time for visiting every corner of this beautiful island, meeting local people and enjoying the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the village and its pubs. I highly recommend this place and this host!

I had never volunteered before and my first time was at the guest house and it couldn't have been better. The place is very peaceful and welcoming. There is beautiful scenery everywhere you look. The tasks at the hostel are simple. The host is very friendly and always helped me in any way he could, he makes you feel at home. I was lucky enough to meet wonderful people during my stay. I highly recommend this place.

The experience was great. My expectations about the environment and the local place were satisfied, it was as I imagined. Sean ,the owner was very nice, He tried to do the maximum to make you feel comfortable and to give you the way to live your experience and to work well. Inis Mor is a beautiful island 🏝️, I suggest it if you wanna really get in touch with nature and cliffs, live in a quite environment , and get in touch with local people (you have to go to the main village). The job is very dynamic because many guests are from all over the world and it helps you to be responsible.

It was an amazing and unforgettable experience! At first I was unsure because it was on an island, but when I got there I saw that there were many houses, there was a market and the landscape was really spectacular. I lived truly intense moments surrounded by nature. It was wonderful to be able to ride a bike, watch and enjoy the seals and be speechless with the sunset. About the volunteer place, the rooms are cozy and beautiful. The Host is very polite, kind and respectful. The job was extremely easy! In short, it was a very positive experience and I will remember it forever!
