The experience

We would love you to welcome you to help us in our small hotel and Tea Rooms in the beautiful New Forest National Park.

You will be involved in a range of duties throughout the hotel, including housekeeping, cleaning, and providing exceptional service to our guests. Additionally, you may be asked to assist in our quaint Tea Room located within the hotel.

We provide accommodation, food, drink, laundry and internet for our staff.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Intermediate English

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

We have worked with many volunteers, interns and work experience students. We really do value your contribution, helping us to deliver great service to our guests.

Activities & Shift

Daily responsibilities will include housekeeping tasks such as cleaning guest rooms, as well as general cleaning throughout the hotel. As a small hotel, there is often the opportunity to assist in our Tea Room. There are also various other tasks where your help would be greatly appreciated
