Agroecological project in BUENOS AIRES :)
The experience
We are looking for volunteer travelers to collaborate with agricultural tasks (mainly harvesting) in an agroecological project. It may also be necessary to collaborate with cleaning, maintenance, gardening, cooking, etc.
Family atmosphere. Family house. NOT HOTEL.
Private or shared room depending on availability.
6,5 hours of daily collaboration. 5 days on week

Shared Dorm:

Program Details
The tasks have an effective duration of 6,5 hours 5 days on a week.
The schedule is coordinated according to needs and available shifts.
The tasks can be in the morning or at night, even in the early morning.
The Program includes the following merchandise and raw materials to prepare your breakfast and some lunch. Per person per week: Milk Bread (400 grs), 7 eggs, 500 grams of rice, 1000 grams of noodles, some fruits, vegetables and seasonal vegetables, cooking oil and condiments. Coffee, yerba mate, tea and sugar. Any merchandise not included in the Program is the responsibility of the volunteers.
A private or shared room is offered depending on availability.
Activities & Shift
Below is a list of some of the tasks that may be part of the work day. We don't need you to be an expert in any of them. It is enough for us that you have the will and desire to learn.
- Agricultural tasks: Harvesting and pruning of plant products. Composting, turning compost piles, sieving, preparing substrate for future crops.
- Keep the bathrooms in the accommodation always clean.
- Laundry: wash, hang, dry and fold bedding.
- Changes of sheets, towels and bedding in rooms.
- General cleaning in the establishment and cleaning of specific places.
- Cleaning of interiors, exteriors and swimming pool.
- Gardening, pruning, lawn mowing or garden work.
- Painting, cleaning of ceilings and walls, general repairs, etc.
- Help in the kitchen, wash dishes and kitchen utensils.
Rules
The bathroom is shared with other guests and inhabitants of the house. It must always remain clean.
Footwear is not used inside the house. It is essential to clean your feet before entering it.
Each participant in the program prepares their own breakfast and is in charge of cleaning the utensils used. Includes coffee, tea or milk, bread, cheese, and eggs.
The shared facilities (laundry, grill, kitchen, barbecue, table tennis, living room, giant TV, etc.) are subject to availability according to the use of other guests or owners.
