To start with the positive, the work is cool and you can meet a lot of nice locals there. Still I can't recommend to go there, the place is too small for the amount of people living there, its dirty and also there is mold. They deliver the „breakfast“ once a week, but its not enough for the amount of volunteers. The owner always says that he will work on the problems but he doesn't even do the bare minimum. The manager of the place does his best but the owner is in charge and he doesn't really do anything. If you consider to go please text the people who were there recently. Stay safe ✌️

This workaway was not what I was expecting it to be. The apartment is too small for the amount of volunteers and it's quite dirty. The breakfast they promised is not enough, everything ran out within a few days and the delivery was only once per week. Worst of all the managers failed to communicate about my departure date and overbooked the apartment. Thereby forcing me to move out earlier than we had agreed upon. For these reasons, I feel that they didn't fulfill their part of our agreement.

The coliving in the coliving is a great place to work at if you want to travel Korea, get to know locals and learn about their life and culture. The working hours are as described (20h/week) and if you need extra time to travel the managers can arrange that:) The boss of the studio is also super nice and even tried to help me studying Korean in free periods. The accommodation is relatively small for 10 people and as you share a room with 3 or 5 others it is sometimes hard to coordinate sleep schedules and can get quite messy. However I had a great time and would definitely recommend!

I liked my staying in Seoul with this host because I could meet locals and actually spend some time with native Korean language speakers. Also, staff of this cafe was really nice to me , however, I've heard that some volunteers had problems with sharing their concerns. Staff was asking volunteers for preferences for the schedule which is great. The atmosphere is welcoming and people are mostly friendly from my experience. Accommodation is okay, but I think some parts of it could be improved, like cleanliness. There is one toilet room for all of the volunteers. Thank you for this experience!

As my first volunteering experience using worldpackers, it couldn't have been better! I was able to make long lasting friendships with both locals and other travellers. The shifts at the language studio were 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. MJ is very accommodating and tries to adapt the shifts to your preferences, which is nice if you want to get out of Seoul for a bit. On the subject of the apartment, as you will be living with 10 people in a small apartment, it can become quite messy. However, if everyone does their cleaning, then there is no problem!

My first Worldpackers experience couldn't have been better! Coming to Korea for the first time, I was hoping to visit Seoul and meet locals at the same time. The cozy and friendly atmosphere in the studio makes it the perfect place to do so. The accommodation is nice and well located. The managers also try to arrange the shifts based on the volunteers' preferences, so it's really easy to explore the city and make plans. I met really good people during my stay that made me feel welcomed and whom I hope to see again soon!

This was one of my favorite Worldpackers experiences! The work is hardly work at all, it's great to meet locals and have interesting conversations about anything! The accommodation is dorm style and everyone is super nice. They also stock the cupboards and fridge well! I can't wait to come back!

Veryyyy cool experience! the coliving is right in the middle of the business district of S Korea where you'll be volunteering and living. It's close to the coliving street which has many markets, shops, restaurants and side streets you can explore. Nice walk to Han river and around the city to explore on foot and metro around the city is fast and efficient. Communication with host is very clear and needs can always be met. While talking to the guests can be tiring at times you will learn to find the balance!!

Simply AMAZING! To start, the staff are extremely fun, welcoming, and supportive. They have very outgoing spirits and are always ready to answer any questions you have. Much love to all of them :) The work itself is a great way to engage with local Koreans and get to know more about daily life and culture (and gossip). You are often meeting 3-7 people each day and each person is different from the other, each engaging in various levels. If you enjoy talking to people and forming relationships then this is a great volunteer for you! The accommodation is well kept, with enough food/supplies.

I had a very nice time here. Everyone was very kind to me and it was easy to talk to the people who came to the studio. The other volunteers and the people who worked at the studio became my good friends whom I will miss very much. Sometimes it's daunting to think about talking to people for four hours but often times the conversations fly by. If you stay a longer time you can really get to know a lot of nice people.
