The experience was very nice. The apartment and the studio are very close. Working in the language studio does not feel like work, every talk is spontaneous and different. Most of the people who go there are workers or students. The apartment is quite small and there is only one bathroom for ten people so, sometimes it can be quite messy. Everyone in the apartment was charming and usually we did plans together.

Thank you for your kind words!
We're glad to hear that you had a nice experience and enjoyed the spontaneity and diversity of conversations in the Language Studio. We're also pleased that you found the location convenient and enjoyed spending time with fellow residents.

We acknowledge the challenges with the apartment space and are actively working on improvements. Given our limited resources and prime location in the heart of Gangnam, it can be challenging, but we are committed to extending our goals.
We appreciate your understanding and support!

The work we did as volunteers was very immersive and interesting, as we talked to many Koreans and learned a lot about the culture and received many tips about the city. The schedule is well organized and the managers were very flexible with our dates and helped us out. However, a very negative point in this experience was the accommodation, which was lacking a lot... very small space for 10 people to live in, poor organization and cleanliness, mould in some places. It could really be improved with proper cleaning, which is impossible to maintain with the constant change of volunters...

It was nice to meet locals but there was meter high mold in the apartment which made people sick. The host doesn't care about the volunteers. He only cares about his profit. Do not recommend this place.

I enjoyed my stay, the other volunteers are amazing people, I would kiss them all in the forehead. The work is not hard and the schedule is flexible if you want to change shifts with other volunteers. The managers where nice, but we all wished they where more caring sometimes. Sometimes we would face difficulties with the accomodation and didn't feel the expected involvement from the managers. Also, the place is small, it's very important to clean as you use because it can get messy quickly. All said, I really liked the stay and, despite any minor issue, I do recommend it.

The experience in the studio was not bad, I could meet great people there and make new friends, sadly, I can't say the same about the place we were staying. It was so small for all the people living there, the food they promised was not enough, there was only one toilet and the place was VERY DIRTY with mold on the walls (this caused me allergy in all my body). The communication with the owner was really bad. He didn't pay attention when we explained our concerns about the place and made excuses all the time. I would recommend texting to other volunteers before going there.

The concept of this experience is good, but in reality I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. It seems that financial profit is the only thing the host is concerned about. The accommodation is way too small for 10 people, terribly equipped (only 1 WC), and extremely poorly managed. There was mold everywhere, there was no dining table to eat from. The promised breakfast was insufficient for the number of people and the laundry was non-existent. At one point the only toilet got severely clogged and the host was reluctant to fix it in a timely manner. I had a disappointing and stressful time.

To start with the positive, the work is cool and you can meet a lot of nice locals there. Still I can't recommend to go there, the place is too small for the amount of people living there, its dirty and also there is mold. They deliver the „breakfast“ once a week, but its not enough for the amount of volunteers. The owner always says that he will work on the problems but he doesn't even do the bare minimum. The manager of the place does his best but the owner is in charge and he doesn't really do anything. If you consider to go please text the people who were there recently. Stay safe ✌️

This workaway was not what I was expecting it to be. The apartment is too small for the amount of volunteers and it's quite dirty. The breakfast they promised is not enough, everything ran out within a few days and the delivery was only once per week. Worst of all the managers failed to communicate about my departure date and overbooked the apartment. Thereby forcing me to move out earlier than we had agreed upon. For these reasons, I feel that they didn't fulfill their part of our agreement.

The coliving in the coliving is a great place to work at if you want to travel Korea, get to know locals and learn about their life and culture. The working hours are as described (20h/week) and if you need extra time to travel the managers can arrange that:) The boss of the studio is also super nice and even tried to help me studying Korean in free periods. The accommodation is relatively small for 10 people and as you share a room with 3 or 5 others it is sometimes hard to coordinate sleep schedules and can get quite messy. However I had a great time and would definitely recommend!

I liked my staying in Seoul with this host because I could meet locals and actually spend some time with native Korean language speakers. Also, staff of this cafe was really nice to me , however, I've heard that some volunteers had problems with sharing their concerns. Staff was asking volunteers for preferences for the schedule which is great. The atmosphere is welcoming and people are mostly friendly from my experience. Accommodation is okay, but I think some parts of it could be improved, like cleanliness. There is one toilet room for all of the volunteers. Thank you for this experience!
