This was a really good experience ! Being able to speak with locals was such a great experience they were so nice and I learned so many things about Korean culture ! Being outside of Seoul is really nice to live a different experience but you are only 30min away from Seoul (Gangnam). If you organize yourself well you can have three days off and discover other cities but you have to say it in advance ! Everyone was really nice and I made so many good memories !

I really enjoyed my stay here! The work was easy enough, just having conversations with students a few hours a week and I was able to make good friendships as well! The academy is close to Seoul so it was easy to visit many places! I really loved my time with the other volunteers too; enjoying nights out, going for dinner, and having movie nights! I had initially only planned on staying here a few weeks but after having such a good time, I asked Scarlett if I could stay longer and she was nice enough to make room for me to extend my trip! Thanks again and I can't wait to come back again soon!!

This experience will give you the opportunity to actually get to know Korean people, culture and language. The other teachers, as well as the students are lovely and I had lots of fun during my two months here. Truly enjoyed working at the academy and also spending my free time in Bundang, its a cool area. Be prepared for a lot of going out (if you want), soju guaranteed! I have made some really great friendships and am very grateful for my experience here.

Perfect opportunity to immerse myself in Korean culture, all while making great friends, having fun at work, and living in a great city! The hours are reasonable and the location is great -- easy to get to Seoul in 30-60 mins for day trips or evening plans. Scarlett is a very kind and responsible host, too, which is always helpful. Even extended my stay here because I loved it so much!

This experience in Korea taught me so many things and helped me grow inside. I met such wonderful students and amazing volunteers, making it an experience I will carry forever in my heart. The work is very fun, my coworkers are great, and I couldn't have chosen a better place. I give it a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it.

Working at this English cafe was such a meaningful experience and and one of my best memories from my time in Korea. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity. It allowed me to connect with locals and gain a deeper understanding of Korean culture. I love the location of the academy and the people there are very warm and welcoming. I am so grateful for the friends I made along the way and the memories I have made here. It was truly an unforgettable experience and I am already planning a return trip!

I enjoyed my experience at Yapper's Academy! Here is some general thoughts on the experience: It is located outside of Seoul by around 40-50 minutes, so accessible but, outside the main tourist area. I enjoyed the opportunity to connect with locals. Food is like mid priced in the area, and there accessible restaurants all around, I didn't cook that much but, other volunteers utilized the kitchen and probably saved some extra bread. I really enjoyed the people at the dorm, there is a good community energy there. Thanks again!

Had a great time at the coliving-Seoul. Scarlet and her team were wonderful and accommodate each volunteer needs as best as they can. Location is fantastic. A place where you can chill, time to yourself to being a party animal. Close to eateries cheap to expensive, shops and transportation buses and trains. Sightseeing wise, you are in Seoul. There is a ton of things to do. But the best thing that I enjoyed the most, was conversing with local Seoul people. Getting to know them in some way small way about their life in Seoul, aspirations, their pressure and anything they wanted to talk about.

Oh my, where do I begin? I knew nothing about South Korea when I came and I left with new friends, new knowledge, and new memories. This is the first time I've done a language program like this and I'm hooked! Not only is the workload fair for what I got, I actually looked forward to my shifts. The students who come are so interesting and interested, they love meeting foreigners and are excited to show people their culture. The other volunteers were so fun and kind, the location is perfect if you want to be out of the big city but still have the convenience of it. LOVE
