I had a really great experience in Daejeon! I met a lot of locals and even got to spend time with some of the studio members :) Russell is super nice and was always available if you needed anything. The work is easy and enjoyable, and it really depends on who you're paired with each session. The apartment was decent but could use a deep clean, and the provided food was okay ~ though the location is great, with lots of nice restaurants nearby. Overall, I had a lot of fun, especially with the other volunteers, and Daejeon is a wonderful place to relax and explore!

I had such a nice time in Daejeon! If you like quiet and peaceful it's the right place! Russell was also really sweet and the job was fun and easy 😊 he gave a lot of food as well I was surprised, made a lot of economies haha The only thing is maybe the accommodation is a but small but that's a detail if you're well organized with each other haha I recommend it! 😁

It was my first experience, so I didn't know what to expect. But it went really well, Russell is kind and helpful. We shared the house with 7, and shared good times too, I met wonderful people that become really goods friends. I had a lot of fun with the locals too, it's a really good immersive experience to meet Korean locals. it's exactly what I was looking for. the work is easy and leaves us time to visit South Korea and the city of Daejeon. Don't hesitate to go to Gyeongju and Jeonju right next door!

IT WAS GREAT! Rusell is really kind and helpfull, you can ask him anything, I think we will help! The apartment was nice, even though we were sharing seven of us, it was nice and I felt during the whole month like I am at home!!! The working itself is nice as well, the conversations are 50mins one and I had usually under 15 a week, two weeks it was 11, most of them are really nice, sometimes it is harder because of the english level, but the people are trying and they are always kind. The only bad think can be the city itself for you, its not Seoul or Busan, but I didnt mind at all!! APPLY

I had a great time volunteering at the language studio and sharing the apartment with the other volunteers. The work was not too hard, as it was just about having conversations with the students. Also, Russell is a very kind host and always made sure that we had everything we need. I recommend this place

This was such a fun experience. The work hours were very chill and you get lots of breaks during your shift. It was a very great way to meet locals and get their recommendations on activities in the area. For the living space, all the backpackers live in a shared accommodation- so it was easy to make plans with each other. And if we ever had questions or trouble, just text the host Russel- was he so kind to help. Everyone makes you feel welcome and the language studio was a really easy environment to get used to~! I recommend this place if you want to visit Daejeon.

This was our first worldpackers in Korea and it was amazing. Not only did we meet so many nice and lovely internationals, but we also made so many great friends at the studio. The working hours are exactly as written in the description and so fair. Working in the evenings also gave us enough time to explore the city and the nature around. Besides that Russel was always there for us and made sure we had the best time. We would really recommend it :)

First of all, Russel is a fantastic host and he really cares about the volunteers. The studio is a lovely place where you'll get the chance to meet locals and really get a look into life in Korea. The apartment is very nice and in a good location. The city is a very nice chill place to spend some time at and I really enjoyed the whole experience. Would 100% recommend and will be back if ill have the time and opportunity

Russell is an amazing host and does so much to make everyone feel welcome and looked after. He took us out for lunch on him one day and always made sure we had what we needed in the flat! The work is in the evenings and is really enjoyable: the students are keen to practise and converse with foreigners so it is really nice to have so many varied conversations and get great recommendations about what to do in Daejeon and beyond! The flat is nice and well looked after and the location is good for Daejeon. The city itself is well-connected to the rest of S Korea too! Thank you so much Russell!

My experience in Daejeon was absolutely lovely. Russel was a fantastic host: he was kind, attentive, and made sure to check in if there was anything we ever needed. The language studio was exactly what I hoped for, allowing me to get to know locals and learn about South Korean culture. I have made close friends with the other volunteers as well as the patrons that I spoke to at the studio. I'm grateful for the opportunity I was given to learn and expand my the guest house knowledge of South Korea through this experience.
