Russell was very thoughtful in making us feel comfortable. Moreover, the work is very enjoyable and allows you to make new friends while learning more about Korean culture. Definitely a great experience!

I have been here a bit more then a month and I can say the place is great! The working hours are no long, and you get plenty of time to explore Daejeon and Korea. I had a lot of fun meeting new friends from around the world and getting to know the culture. This was a very good experience as a first volunteeling!

My experience in the Language Studio was great! Russell, the host, is an amazing person and very comprehensive. Also, he always made sure that we had plenty of food in the accommodation (rice, bread, eggs, instant noodles, milk, cereal, carrots, potatoes, etc). Furthermore, the work hours were always respected. The work is during the evening, so you have the whole day to explore the city. In conclusion, this is a very good place to volunteer.

My experience at the studio was truly amazing!! All the other volunteers and Russell were so kind and fun to be around, it really felt like being part of a little family. The work was so amazing, because it let me dive into Korean culture in a way I never could have otherwise. Daejeon is such a calm and cozy place, perfect for long walks and just taking it easy. I'm so grateful for this whole experience, it's something I'll never forget. Thank you so much, and I really hope we get to meet again someday! 🤍🫶🏻

I had done the same kind of job in Seoul, and the experience was as good as in there. Although Daejeon is a smaller city with less things to do, it is very cozy and better for taking a break from the big metropolis. It is also close to several mountains and other cities, so you have plenty to visit around. The work is very fun and both the people from Daejeon and Russel (the host) are really nice. The accommodation is very comfortable, even with many people, and the schedule is sometimes even shorter than announced.

The past three weeks in Daejeon have been unforgettable! I'll miss the wonderful students, supportive coworkers, and our amazing host, Russell. Daejeon, unlike bustling Seoul, has a quieter charm that takes time to appreciate, and its central location makes exploring nearby nature and cities easy. The accommodation and food are among the best in the industry, and the work is both enjoyable and meaningful, offering the chance to connect with locals and build lasting friendships. If you enjoy connecting with people and immersing yourself in local culture, this program is perfect for you!

I enjoyed my stay in Daejeon, Russell was kind and I had a lot of fun with the other volunteers The appartment is comfortable but it's long due a deep cleaning, the kind that should not be expected from the volunteers alone (mold in the bathroom, dust and grease build up, dirty walls, etc) The work and work hours were as discussed :)
