The experience

Join Cloudberry Farm this August and September for a meaningful volunteer experience as part of the Doyo Village Revitalization Project.
You’ll help organize local festivals, assist with community events like our Water Festival and Sweet Potato Festival, and take part in social farming activities with children and people with disabilities.

This is a great chance to connect with local residents, promote cultural exchange, and experience .


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

📌 Program Description: Make a Real Impact with the Social Farmers Club
At Cloudberry Farm in Doyo Village, we believe in the power of farming, culture, and community to bring people together. As a volunteer in August and September, you'll join our Social Farmers Club—a heartwarming program where you’ll help create meaningful experiences for local residents, children, and vulnerable groups.

You won’t just be observing—you’ll be actively participating in village life, working alongside locals, and sharing unforgettable moments through the following activities:

🌟 Program Highlights
🎉 August 15–17: Water Festival
Be part of a joyful 3-day summer festival! You’ll help organize and run water-themed games and activities for families from Gimhae and Busan. This is a chance to bring fun and energy to our village and connect with local children and parents.

🍠 Late September: Sweet Potato Festival
Celebrate the fall harvest with the community! Volunteers will assist with booth setup, food events, and fun games for visitors. It’s a lively and cultural event where you can feel the spirit of rural Korea.

🍓 Strawberry Planting with Local Groups
In September, we’ll host special strawberry planting sessions for children from community centers and people with disabilities. Your role is to guide and support them in the smart farm, encouraging learning, joy, and confidence.

Activities & Shift

🕒 Activities & Shifts – Social Farm Project (August–September)
As a volunteer in our Social Farm Project, you’ll join hands-on, community-based activities that blend farming, education, and cultural exchange.

You’ll receive a weekly schedule and enjoy 2 days off per week, giving you time to relax or explore Korea.

Here’s a preview of what you’ll do:

🌽 Harvest & Garden Time with the Community
Join kids and individuals with disabilities in light farming tasks like corn picking and garden care, creating warm, inclusive moments in the field.

🍽️ Korean Dinner Cooking Day
Cook traditional meals with locals and volunteers—a fun day of stories, food, and cultural sharing.

💧 Water Play with Local Kids
Help lead summer water activities for children from nearby centers. Be a friend, mentor, and memory-maker!

🗣️ English Mentoring for Teens
Support high school students preparing for global experiences with conversational English and confidence-building.

💬 Inclusive Social Farming
Assist vulnerable groups in simple farm tasks, offering encouragement and a welcoming environment.

This program is about connection, compassion, and community—a meaningful way to grow alongside others in rural Korea.
