The experience
This October and November, Cloudberry Farm invites you to join our volunteer program for a meaningful experience in social farming and cultural exchange. Volunteers will take part in harvesting sweet potatoes, caring for strawberry plants, and planting seasonal crops like cabbages and radishes. Each week, children from five local child centers and members from three disability centers will join us for farming activities, local food cooking class
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.
What you get
2 days off per week
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

📌 Program Description: Make a Real Impact with Social farm activity
At Cloudberry Farm, we believe in the power of farming, culture, and community to bring people together. As a volunteer in October and November, you’ll join our social farm activity—a heartwarming program where you’ll help create meaningful experiences for children, people with disabilities, and local residents through farming, cooking, horticulture, and English conversation.
You won’t just be observing—you’ll be actively participating in farm life, working alongside locals, and sharing unforgettable moments through the following activities:
🌟 Program Highlights
🍠 October: Sweet Potato Harvest & Field Care
Harvest sweet potatoes and support weekly visits from 5 child centers and 3 disability centers. Help with strawberry runner care & leaf trimming, and cabbage/radish cultivation.
🎃 October: Halloween English Camp
Assist with interactive English games, simple crafts, and costume fun. Create a safe, joyful space for cultural exchange and language learning.
🌿 Monthly Farmers Club (Oct & Nov)
Join our family-friendly meet-up once a month: hands-on farming, local-food cooking, and a friendly English conversation circle. Help coordinate mini-challenges and sharing time.
🥬 November: Kimchi-Making English Camp
Support stations for washing, salting, seasoning, and packing kimchi while practicing everyday English and sharing food culture.
💚 What You’ll Do
Support weekly social farm activity sessions with children & people with disabilities
Assist in farming tasks (sweet potato harvest; strawberry care; cabbage/radish management)
Co-lead local food cooking classes & horticulture workshops
Facilitate beginner-friendly English conversation
Help operate Monthly Farmers Club and seasonal English
Activities & Shift
🕒 Activities & Shifts – Social Farm Project (October–November)
As a volunteer in our Social Farm Project, you’ll join hands-on, community-based activities that blend farming, education, and cultural exchange.
You’ll receive a weekly schedule and enjoy 2 days off per week, giving you time to relax or explore Korea’s beautiful autumn scenery.
Here’s a preview of what you’ll do:
🍠 Sweet Potato Harvest & Autumn Farming
Take part in harvesting sweet potatoes and help with strawberry runner care, leaf trimming, and cultivating cabbages and radishes alongside children and individuals with disabilities.
🥗 Local Food Cooking & Horticulture Class
Work with locals and social groups to prepare seasonal dishes and learn about Korean food culture. You’ll also help run simple gardening workshops.
🎃 Halloween English Camp (October)
Assist with fun English activities, costume play, and cultural games that bring joy to children while practicing English together.
🥬 Kimchi-Making English Camp (November)
Support participants in preparing kimchi—a UNESCO-recognized tradition—while guiding them in English conversation for cultural exchange.
💬 Inclusive Social Farming Sessions
Every week, welcome groups from child centers and disability centers. Assist them with farming tasks, cooking, and English learning in a warm and encouraging environment.
🍂 Autumn Foliage Excursions
Enjoy Korea’s stunning fall colors with group outings to scenic spots such as Busan Hwamyeong Arboretum, Jinju Arboretum, Geumgang Park, Tongdosa Temple (Yangsan), and Jinhae Inland Water Eco Park.
