What I can say from my experience is that I made a second family, you really feel a member of them. Working with the cleaning of Cabains is not difficult, from to execute even for those who do not experience you like me, even more with the best teachers Georgia and Lauren, the ride with Hamish and Malky is the fun of the day, Chris a very special guy and a great cook Scottish and Irene simply fantastic, patient, gentle and a great cook. What I can say is that I recommend and intend to return soon to review everyone and live special moments that I lived there.

This was my first experience using WorldPackers and it was amazing! Irene is great, always cooking nice dinners and worried about if we had enough food. Chris was really nice too. The dogs walk is the best part of the experience for sure! I cried saying goodbye to them, they're gonna be your best friend if you're the only volunteer. The only thing that the appliers should know is that you walk the dogs every day, even in your day offs, but this is not a big problem because as I said it's so good to be with them. Thank you Irene, Georgia, Chris… hope to see you again sometime.

My first volunteering and it was a great experience, I really felt very good, I would have loved to speak more English and communicate better. Irene is a great hostess, I felt very comfortable at home, she is very kind and was very patient with me, the work is not heavy at all, the schedules are met and also the days off. Malky and Hemish the dogs are lovely. The place is fantastic, the lake, the mountains seem like a place from stories. Dalavich people are very friendly. I want to thank Irene, Chris, Georgia for this great experience and a hug to Iona, my little teacher.

This was my first volunteering experience. Irene is like a grandmother, she has a big heart and always makes us feel at ease. The work is not difficult, but it has to be dedicated. My favorite part was walking the dogs, Malk and Himish, I will miss them so much. I loved my stay, it was an amazing month, Georgia and Cris are very friendly. Hope to be back soon. I wish you all the best! It was a pleasure to be part of the team.

I don't even know what to say, what a wonderful place, I had a great long time there and I can say it's my second home now. Everyone so welcoming and lovely, I made good friends. The job isn't hard, just can't say that about the bunk beds 😂. Thank you Irene, Georgia, and Chris for everything, I'll miss u all mainly Hamish and Malk 🥰. I'm certainly coming back, hopefully very soon. I wish you all the bests, thank you ☺️

Dalavich is beautiful and the people are very friendly. The work is not difficult and the cities around it are charming. I thank everyone for the teachings and patience with me and you can be sure I will never forget this experience that entered the best moments of my life. I will miss everyone and the lovely dogs. My second time at Mrs. Irene home. It was a great pleasure to be there again. We get along great, just like I got along with her right handman, Chris. About the work it's something simple: cleaning the lodge and changing some sheets. It starts at 10am and goes until 1:30pm~2pm. After that we got lunch time and get back to some laps with her dogs. The beginning is difficult as usual as we have the time difference which affects me badly. A PS for people that never heard about scottish people: don't be late, do your duty and try to understand their accent. Dalavich is my second home.

This was my first volunteer experience and it was just wonderful. Irene is an amazing person, friendly, respectful and welcoming. She made me feel at home. Irene's friends are so nice and sociable too. The work isn't hard and walk the dogs is just perfect if you enjoy nature... There are a lot of beautiful paths nearby, you can easily see the falls or the loch. I highly recommend this experience. Thanks for eveything Irene, Georgia and Lauren, I really appreciate the time that I've spend with you. And a special kiss to Iona, one of the most lovely kids I've ever met <3

Irene is an incredible host and she makes you feel at home from the second you arrive. The work isn't hard nor time consuming, so it gives you plenty of free time to go out on hikes with Malky and Hamish (two lovely dogs). You're able to travel to Oban by bus and from there you can take the ferrie to any of the islands. This was my first experience as a volunteer, and it was excellent. Everyone in the village is so friendly and are always willing to help out or just have a chat with you. Thank you SO MUCH Irene, Georgia, Lauren and everyone I got to know in Dalavich for an amazing experience!

This place is amazing, Irene is a lovely woman that cooks very well and run greats the lodge in a awesome village to breath in the nature. Walking with the dogs was the best part of volunteer in Dalavich. The tasks in the lodge were good, I did a lot of gardening (because of coronavirus lockdown) and Irene was helpfull and patient in this moment. I appreciate each day in this place and hope to comeback one day.
