I really loved my stay in Kamakura. All my roommates were so welcoming and the majority of them are definitely lifelong friends. The dorm is decent and the food is amazing. Only thing I would change is that we don't really receive what was promised. We weren't allowed to use the kitchen, we worked more hours than what was agreed on, and we only got 2 meals a day, not 3. Also, all the stuff in the dorm is provided by the people staying there, like toilet paper and laundry detergent. Regardless of all that, I'd come back. It's such a beautiful place and I already miss my coworkers.

I loved my time here even though it was very short. Kuni and Ai San are very easy going and friendly people. I have met some of the coolest people that I will cherish forever through this experience. Thank you for having me! Ps Kamakura has the coolest hiking trails so go out and explore!!

The guest house was an amazing experience. Was a great way to practice my Japanese and feel the culture. everyone was incredibly nice the food was amazing and the beach is 15 mins away! I wish I could have stayed longer! Kamakura is Home. Thank you Kuni for making this place so welcoming

Kuni-san is an amazing host, he will make you feel at home from the beginning till the end of your trip. His amazing cooking skills will make you travel all around the world ! Being a part of his team was one of the best experience that I lived in Japan. The work is not complicated and you have plenty of time to explore the city.

The BEST experience ever!! 3 months flew by here. Kuni-San, Ai-San and the entire team soon became family to me. They are so kind and will support you in every way. Kuni-San is also an INCREDIBLE chef and prepares dishes from all over the world. He can adjust to your likes/diet and serves new dishes every day. The city Kamakura is now my favorite in Japan. The beach is near, Mt. Fuji is visible on clear days, and there are many shrines and temples to explore. Perfect if you want a local Japanese experience. The work wasn't difficult either, plenty of free time. Don't think twice, just apply!

El voluntariado es increíble! Kuni es un anfitrión muy amable, las tareas son muy sencillas y los horarios se respetan 100%, además de que hay flexibilidad de mover tus horarios por lo que sin problema puedes recorrer ciudades cercanas a Kamakura y conocer un poquito más de Japón, los demás voluntarios con los que compartes casa son amables y tienen buena vibra, la casa en donde duermes es linda, cómoda y se respira un ambiente tranquilo y seguro. recomendaría mil veces este voluntariado, definitivamente te vas a enamorar de Kamakura y la comida de Kuni!💓🙏🏻

Ame esta experiencia definitivamente es el mejor lugar al que puedes llegar , Todo el personal es muy amable y comprensivo kuni san es quien nos guía además que cocina para nosotros todos los días que trabajamos ,la comida es extremadamente deliciosa!! además de que los días que no trabajamos tenemos un presupuesto compartido con los demás voluntarios para poder cocinar en la casa ya que vivimos en una casa aparte de los hosteles , vivimos muy cerca al mar y cerca a todos los lugares más emblemáticos de kamakura simplemente puedo decir que mi estadía fue demasiado hermosa 💕💕
