I loved my time in this hostel ! It was my first experience volunteering and it was perfect. I directly felt like home. The other volunteers, the manager, the owner and the guests are awesome. The place is great and perfectly located. The work is not difficult but never boring. I had enough free time to explore the island, socialize with guests and rest. I am really glad that I could live this experience, I can only recommend it, all my love to the hostel and thanks for everything ❤️

Staying at the hostel was such an experience! It was my first volunteering program and I would definitely repeat the experience. I love the place and the great team we had there. I had the chance to get to know too many people from all around the globe and share time with them in the amazing rooftop. The work was not really demanding and we had a lot of free time to discover and enjoy the island. If I had to propose any improvements I would say that the surf classes could happen more often or otherwise change the description here in the worldpackers page. Anyway, I totally recommend it😛

I had a very good time at the hostel. I felt very welcome and quickly got to know many nice people. The work was mostly as agreed. Sometimes we had to work more or da check-in outside the agreed working hours. The communication in the team was sometimes difficult because the manager was not always available. In addition, there were no bicycles available. Nevertheless, I had a lot of time to go surfing, exploring the island or chilling at the beach. I spent many hours on the Rooftop and miss this time already. I would do it again for sure!!!!

Hello and thank you for your review. If you feel that you work more hours or something isnt as you think it should be Im always at your disposal. You can always write and call. Manager is not 24h, and tasks are clearly stated in our worker manuals for each day and even divided on shift hours. We are sorry you didnt get bikes for free, unfortunately as you probably know other staff member left bikes unlocked at the entrance and they simply got stolen. We were happy to host you and good luck on your yourneys.

I never got to meet the owner of the hostel. I was told to leave the next day while still in training. The management was a disaster

Max le manager de l'auberge et les volontaires étaient très sympathiques et accueillants. Max m'a très bien formé. Malheureusement je ne suis pas restée comme prévue car la chambre était vraiment très petite pour 4 volontaires, sans fenêtre, et le matelas pas du tout confortable. 1 seul jour de congés était possible tous les 3 jours, cela ne revient pas à 2 par semaine. L'auberge est propre et bien pour les clients, mais je trouve que travailler autant d'heures en tant que volontaire pour si peu de confort, c'est pas vraiment cool… Je suis donc partie dans une autre auberge.

The small room and the work hours, were discussed in detail before you accepted the offer. Once commented on the mattress, I offered you to change it or even switch the room entirely - you refused. I asked you to stay for a week until we find someone - you refused.

From my part, I did everything to find a solution. We have counted on you, as you had already signed the job contract, but you decided to leave anyway. Sad indeed.

Mi voluntariado en el hostel ha sido una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida! El hostel es muy limpio y cómodo, los trabajadores y el resto de voluntarios me hicieron sentir como en casa y las vistas al mar son maravillosas! Los turnos están bien organizados y las tareas són fáciles de realizar. Tuve mucho tiempo libre para hacer turismo. Todo cumplió y superó mis expectativas, lo único que yo pensaba que las clases de surf y yoga eran gratis pero lo que te ofrecen es un descuento, aún así está muy bien y vale la pena hacerlo. En definitiva, un 10! Una suerte estar allí! Recomendadísimo!

Una experiencia maravillosa. El hostel está ubicado genial, los primeros días no me podía creer que tenía la suerte de tener el océano 24h en frente de mi, es algo mágico. Max es muy amable, te pide el minimo necesario para que eñ Hostel funcione bien y siempre cordial y educado, un placer trabajar con el. Los otros voluntarios han sido muy importantes para mi y la cantidad de gente que conoces en ese hostel es increíble, encima todos jovenes viajeros con historias bonitas. Puedes organizar actividades y el hostel tiene de todo,guitarra,skateboard y otras cosas. Experencia única en el hostel

La experiencia en el hostel es de lo más enriquecedora y merece mucho la pena. Las conexiones que haces, la gente interesante que puedes conocer y la ubicación del lugar son increíbles. El trabajo no es excesivo y el buen ambiente entre los voluntarios y el personal del hostel facilita ese trabajo. Lo recomiendo 100%, el único aviso que yo daría es el ser consciente de que en un hostel prácticamente todas las áreas son compartidas, por lo que a veces se puede hacer pesada la falta de espacio personal propio debido a una estancia prolongada (por eso yo no aplicaría por más de 2-3meses seguidos)

Esperienza fantastica, non potevo capitare in un posto migliore, Max e tutti gli altri volontari fin dal primo giorno mi hanno fatto sentire a casa e mi hanno spiegato al meglio tutte le mansioni da svolgere. é un esperienza che consiglio a tutti, ti permette di conoscere posti e culture diverse. L'ostello è bellissimo, proprio davanti al mare, il lavoro da svolgere è giusto e ti lascia il giusto tempo per divertirti e girare l'isola. Sperò un giorno di ritornare per rifare questa bellissima esperienza.
