The adventure in HighTide Hostel was my first with Worldpackers. I am very happy that I chose Las Palmas as my first destination. The location of the hostel (literally a few meters from the beach) is amazing. Even better is the rooftop terrace where you can relax in the sun. The voluntary tasks are clear and not hard. Mainly you clean the dorms and public areas, but in some shifts you are also responsible for the check-in process. With three other volunteers you share a small room with two bunk beds. I would recommend everyone to stay at HighTide and have an amazing time like I had.

It was my first experience with worldpackers and it was very good, workteam was amzing and the teaks doabiole, the location could not be any better and i met a lot of amzing ppl but the sleep plece is not relly cozy, otherwise i will always recommende it

It was my first volunteer experience and I couldn't ask for better. The tasks were just as planned beforehand. The only thing I would improve is comunication between manager and volunteers, but above all my experience at the hostel was just perfect. I'll definitely come back!! I highly recommend it.

I had the absolute best time at the hostel! The hostel atmosphere was super friendly and welcoming- a great place to meet likeminded people and enjoy surfing, yoga and life on the beach. The work hours were clear and as agreed, but the introduction could have been slightly better organised in terms of explaining the routine. Overall I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone - I'll definitely be back!

Volunteering at the hostel was an amazing experience! The place attracts very nice people who are in similar states of mind and the atmosphere is very chill. The manager is very clear about the tasks and the workload is very fair. Overall, I had a great time at the hostel and would recommend it anytime!

I had an amazing experience here at the hostel. The other volunteers and the manager and owner were all lovely, the work was as specified and extremely flexible. I loved my time here so much I have ended up staying for another month. The island is beautiful with a huge range of things to do. In terms of the hostel itself it was super clean, nice and had a great vibe. We offered activities like surfing and yoga where we could also get involved along with guests which helped to create great connections with people. I highly recommend it here!

This experience will bring you into a cozy and well-organized hostel located right next to the beach. As the hostel will be full of travelers it will bring more of an international rather than Spanish feeling but that is expected when you go to a hostel, right? A warm welcome from the host and transparent working hours and expectations. Perfect if you want to spend time surfing, playing beach volley or any other beach activity as the location cannot be better. Alternatively, you can enjoy rooftop and night activities. Recomend!

I can't do more than recommend this place! I spent one month in this hostel volunteering. The schedule and tasks are so logical & figured out intelligently and what you receive in return is more than fair. I never felt like they asked for too much nor that I did too little- it is the perfect balance for a hostel volunteering. I got great discounts for yoga and surfing and the team spirit was amazing. All of this would not have been possible without the best manager Max!!! Gracias y nos vemos pronto ❤️❤️❤️

My volunteering experience at the hostel was beyond expectations: the tasks are easy and well explained, the work schedule is optimal and you have a lot of free time to go to the beach, go surfing, or chill on the beautiful rooftop, where I saw the best sunsets ever; the hostel is just amazing, the manager Max is very nice and easygoing :) I'm grateful I had the opportunity to volunteer here, it's a magical place, all the people I shared this experience with hold a special place in my heart <3 Thank you the hostel!
